tell me where I am wrong.

At the beginning of the year I said the Heat were once again going to be a slow, methodical team that sucked at shooting the 3 with shaky depth, and "stars" passed their primes and should get around the 6th seed and somewhere between 42-45 wins. seems pretty damn accurate to me, lol.....and you gotta admit- its just a disgusting, boring type of basketball to watch- watching this team walk the ball up, take the least shots in the league, horrible behind the line- its just awful.

instead of attacking what i am saying- because you know its true- you attack me- oldest trick in the book. You are a donald trump fan ARENT YA!!!! lol

Heat playing at a faster pace the last week or so. Exciting basketball doesn't really get you anywhere before the Warriors last year. The Spurs won 4 titles playing "boring" basketball.

Considering you did not say one positive thing about the Heat, I would assume their fighting for a top 3 pick along with Philly and the Lakers. This is why you're a joke. You shit on a team because you hate them and make them seem like the worse team in basketball. As long as the Heat doesn't suffer any major injuries, they'll be a top 4 seed with HCA in round 1. This team is built for the playoffs.

in case you have a problem reading- in the prior post i confirmed my prior thoughts- 42-45 wins and the 6th seed- I would hardly say that is making them "seem like the worse team in basketball".....the fact that their style of play is 15 years old and is just eye-stabbingly boring to watch doesnt have much to do with their very mediocre record and statistics.

"as long as they dont have any major injuries"

what do you think the chances of that are? --- hey ya know what else? - ill be rich if i win the power ball. No way do the Heat get a top 4 seed. Cleveland and Toronto are obviously #1 and #2- and the Hawks, Bulls, and I think even the Celtics will solidly stay ahead of them. I just hope the Heat either get the 5 seed and somehow gut out a first round win- or get the 8th seed- then we can see some FIREWORKS!!!!!

Lets talk about the Cavs exciting style of basketball:

Pace is at 94.9 which ranks them 28th in the league.....just above Miami who is ranked 29th.

Cavs are ranked 20th in shot attempts.

Some exciting basketball to get the fans out of their seat out there in the Q

Why is the Cavs ranked 28th in PACE of play?

well considering we have 3 super stars in their prime and are on national TV all the time- and are a top 10 offensive team and a top 3 defensive team....i think i would have to disagree, lol......not only that- but those changes Ty Lue has made just had LeBron- FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS CAREER - have his team score over 110 points for 5 straight wins! NOW THAT IS FUN!

When I say major injuries, I'm speaking about something to end someone season so I'll say pretty slim.

The Cavs should beat the Heat in a 7 game series....just as they should beat any of the other 7 teams out East who make the playoffs in a series. If the Cavs lose before the finals, it will be one of the biggest failures in NBA history.

Cavs would need 5 games max against the Heat. Maybe the Heat would steal one in Miami...

They're ranked 8th in defense. Stop making shit up please. They're also ranked 12th in OPP FG%. They're not close to a top 3 defense

Yeah the pace of play argument is weird coming from a Cavs fan. Lue's whole shakeup has been about increasing pace. That would kind of imply they played too slow, no?
Blatt is an idiot. The Cavs are the most efficient transition team in the entire NBA- and have the most efficient transition player since Magic Johnson- and played slow. Thank GOODNESS Lue has a clue!, lol.

Great for them. The Cavs could sweep the entire East and nobody would care once the Warriors or Spurs mop the floor with them in June

well there are obviously different ways to rank it - i was going by points given up- but if you actually make a sensible argument and give some stats to back it up i will certainly look at it.

when you say 8th in defense- what do you actually mean? what stat are you looking at? id love to look at the inverse offensive stat-

as- if you go by points allowed, and points scored- the Cavs are 3rd and 10th respectively......

when you say- NO DUMMY THEY ARE 8TH STOP MAKING STUFF UP! and then you back that up with exactly nothing- you look equal parts angry and bitter.

OPP PPG is one of the weakest arguments for best defense especially when you play at such a slow pace as Cleveland does. DEF EFF, OPP FG%, & OPP 3 PT FG are all much better judge of best defensive teams. They're ranked 8th, 12th,and 9th in those stats. Miami on the other hand are ranked top 5 in 2 of those categories

can u link? id just like to know where you get it from- and it would be interesting to see the offensive stats as well- which- unsurprisingly you left out since- let me guess- you correct me when i overstated the defense when it came to your stats- but you left alone the offense which would jump up higher with your stats? right?

the Heat should get you to cherry pick in transition once in a while! ;)

OFF EFF & DEF EFF are the best way to grade the best offensive and defensive teams in basketball

Hollinger's NBA Team Stats - ESPN Insider - National Basketball Association - ESPN

Cavs are ranked 4th in OFF EFF and 8th in DEF EFF

i think i read that its either since Lue started coaching- or after the Bulls game (it would just be one game)- the Cavs offensive efficiency has been like 114...which is above the warriors...pretty crazy....obviously for just a limited stretch.....

i like hollingers stats- he took a job for the griz though- i wonder if he is sitll there. - it appears hes back at ESPN?

i certainly care if the Cavs sweep the east. i went through 4 seasons without any playoffs- and it sucked....having an extra 2 months of intense playoff basketball- to me anyway- is freaking awesome no matter how you break it....it certainly beats waiting for the lotto. but- to each their own.

The season is a failure if they're not holding up the trophy in June. Simple as that.
