Just watched some Rua highlights from last season. I like this cat.

As you can see from my post I said....I do THINK (see above).

I look at pitchers for not only what they've accomplished, but the potential upside as well and think there's a bunch of guys like Fister, Strasbrug, SALE/WAINWRIGHT, Alvarez, Greinke, Zimmerman who'd I'd mention in the same sentence with Yu.

It's not a knock on Darvish. Did you think this is what I was saying? Wasn't what I was trying to do anyway.
I think if Darvish pitched in the NL that his numbers would be as good as anyone's.

Abdolutely. Give him a pretty much guaranteed two more strikeouts per game and take the DH away. Only kershaw/Bumgarner might be better

Tepesch! Time for you to prove it, boy! And I sure hope Jackson turns it around and quickly.

No thanks on NT. He's a GB pitcher that hasn't been getting GBs. Is rather have Martinez, and I'm not that crazy about that either. I like Bonilla more than either.

You base this on what? One spring training appearance?

P

Have no faith Tepesch. he was bad last year and started off that way this spring.

Tepesch finished the year quite strong, and anyone who puts any stock into spring training pitching results at this point deserves to have their baseball iq questioned.

I agree with you on spring training. But that outing the other day even for spring training was pathetic.

Why aren't you harping on Colby too then?

It's sure time for Detweiller to shine.

Because he has been good in the past.

That's weak logic. Like I said, Tepesch was good down the stretch last season. His first spring training appearance shouldn't carry any more weight than Colby's.

That would be really nice. Frankly, at this point if we can just play .500 ball I'll be happy. This news has really been a kick in the nuts.

All those years pitching in Japan and he comes over here? It's like a given now. (just ranting)

He pitched a ton over in Japan, logged lots of innings
