He's a young pitcher learning on the job and is showing improvement. Ignoring that and treating him like a tenured veteran when evaluating his metrics is dumb. And don't throw the "differing opinion" garbage out there like that. That's PDay crap and you're better than that.

He looked better at the end of the year but overall last season he missed less bats while walking more. If his sinker doesn't sink he won't make it in the majors.

I'm a little bit in your camp in that if we don't see him look like he's going to get it together this year then we probably shouldn't count on him, but I'm going to give him this season, and I'm damn sure not going to give any credence to his first spring training appearance.

No it's not. The park factors show a significant difference since they opened the back of the stadium. There's no channel carrying the wind out to R field anymore. Second, Darvish, Lewis, Wilson, Harry, Ogando, etc have all proven you can pitch successfully in Arlington.

Yeah this one is tough to digest, cant think about anything other than how long of a season it is going to be. Last year was awful, depending on how things go with Fielder and others this one may feel longer?
