I don't know if its 130. I thought it was going to be 19 or 20 a year. Like I said, the numbers that have been thrown around range from 17-21 AAV.. ALL lower then his price.

Got another text back. Doesnt think our deal is 7 years. Thinks its 6 with a an option for the 7th year. He said that would make more sense, but everyone is confused right now. The scouts are divided on who wants him, which may indicate that its a pretty large sum of money than we expect

FWIW, he really wants him. Loves his eye at the plate. He said with him and andrus at the top of the order, even when the lineup is struggling, a starting pitcher shouldnt be able to go that deep because they both like to see pitches

May be a higher annual average to keep those option years.

I wouldnt be opposed to signing morse either. A very cheap DH option. He's not THAT great, but his value will probably be higher than Cruz. He's young and will be much cheaper and shorter term

Scouts thinking choo deal is 6/114. Option for another year to make it 134.

Edit: I meant to say offer, not deal. But Choo has not accepted yet, so its likely that if he ended up signing with us we upped the offer in some way
