He had a fantastic 2012 and a decent 2011, but that's about it. He had a horrid 2013 and a forgettable career before then

You want to trade good prospects for a one season of a guy that has hardly played outfield in his entire career and is an above average hitter is what it boils down too

I still would have no problem with bringing back Nellie and putting him in LF.

Does Moreland have an average arm? Don't think he's gonna be with us when the smoke settles, but if he is, wondering about him playing a few in LF too.

Well that was a flurry of stuff while I was gone.

I would agree with Broseiden and Espn Refugee that so far JD has not disappointed. He didn't hand out a ridiculous contract to anyone. He extended MP and kept Frasor and Soto. He got a cheap backup that will have some homers and also pulled off a whale of a trade and was able to ship our beloved 4th OF for some very very solid potential.

He's got some work left to do, but it's 12/9 so I am not worried at all.

Texas is counting on him getting on somewhere else I think. They would consider signing him as losing a pick.

mobile or computer?

if computer, click on when the tweet was posted (in the top right corner) (on your timeline or the person's timeline).

That should give you a link that looks like
Code:
[MEDIA=twitter]410129233487605760[/MEDIA]

So the imbedded tweet code would look like
Code:
 [tweet]410129233487605760[/tweet.] (minus the period)

What if the Rangers did trade Elvis Andrus. I would cry my self to sleep every night, but that means Pro would move to SS, they would go after Infante to play second. But who would they get for Elvis? Thought bubbles be bubblin.....

If War is all you want to look at, I'd be happy to post every other stat for him and everyone to see. His 2013 was awful.

His numbers are somewhat suppressed bc of Petco. I think he's a fit bc he would be a great 3B to spell Beltre more often as well as playing LF.

Looks like his defense added a lot to his value, however among qualified major league 3B he was 8th in wRC+, 5th in OBP but was middle of the pack at 11th in OPS.

Petco has less to do with it than you might think if you look at his splits. He had better wRC+ and OPS at home than he did on the road. That surprised me, because I would have honestly expected the reverse to be true.
