The guy was Finals MVP.

But, what kind of player does he project as?

Pippen?

I don't know if he can score at that clip consistently.

I wouldn't give either the max. Both are nice players, but I couldn't see building a team with either as the main guy. I see it more with Kawai than with Klay. Klay is an excellent shooter, great at his role, but I'm not building the team to fit him.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Lets look at this honestly....

He's behind Bron and KD....obviously.

He had a great finals.

But, I'm not ready to say Kawhi > Melo based off one year.

We don't know what George will be upon his return.

But, what about the other youngins?

The Bucks have two promising Thundercats that can both play the 3 in Giannis and Parker.

Plus, I think Wiggins is gonna be a stud in a few years.

If/when those guys pan out, where will Leanord rank if he continues to improve?

I wouldn't give either the max. Both are nice players, but I couldn't see building a team with either as the main guy. I see it more with Kawai than with Klay. Klay is an excellent shooter, great at his role, but I'm not building the team to fit him.

Will either team have a choice next year?

Somebody will overpay and they will have to match or lose them.

But, I don't see any reason to overspend now.

Sure, it's great for these guys to have peace of mind and to avoid hurt feelings.

But, it's not like they can just leave.

The Warriors/Spurs can still match any deal next summer.

I'd let it ride if I'm the Spurs...not if I'm the Warriors.

They can't risk some team giving Klay a poison pill deal or a frontloaded contract like Parsons.

After not acquiring Love, losing Klay would be a disaster.

How do you think Shane Larkin is going to fit in on the Knicks roster? Personally I wanna see the young guy get some burn because hes got a lot of explosiveness. I wrote a little more about this on this blog that I guest blog for.

Granted it was against the Magic.

But, how in the blue hell are teams gonna score in the paint against them?

Asik is the perfect compliment to Davis.

Some fool in my Fantasy league dropped Asik to pickup Javelle McGee...LMFAO
