what I like most about Petty is how quickly he reads a defense pre snap and has the ball out in 1-3 seconds.

Petty's biggest problem is his "zip" on passes ... he throws a nice deep ball with perfect loft, but so did Matt Barkley. At the NFL level the ball needs to get to the receivers quickly because you don't have college type separation and all DB's are fast. He doesn't have a bad arm, it's just not top notch.

Does anybody have an idea of compensatory picks we should be in line of getting? If Graham leaves, then i think we will get a 4th round pick, since he was a 1st round pick.

RE: CB Marcus Peters ... been listening to a bunch of his interviews and the more I listen to him the more I think the coaching staff at Washington was the problem with his dismissal. The kid comes off as a personable, talkative, leader type who was always very positive about his team mates, working hard and helping the young guys on the team. I watched a total of 7 or 8 clips and got the same impression from all of them. Unless this kid is a master BS'er on camera I have a feeling coaches will dismiss the dismissal from the team as an isolated incident. As far as I know he doesn't have any off field issues. I would have zero issues taking this kid with the 20th pick in the draft.

Well, I think he's the most talented of all the top prospects.
Grab him , and then pick the Rollins kid in the 5th.
Sign Maxwell, and McCourty, and we'll be good.

If we go QB round 1 I will need a new TV. Let's not turn into the Browns.

Yup.. Pretty much. Address the defense should be top priority. No friggin way should Mariota even be mentioend in trading up for imo. Plenty of holes to fill on defense and the Eagles should think about adding depth and youth on their OL.

Just saw a guy's mock for the Birds:
Round 1 : Bernardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State (A)

Round 2 Pick 20: Devin Funchess, WR, Michigan (A)

Round 3 Pick 20: Hroniss Grasu, C, Oregon (A)

Round 3 Pick 26 (BALT): Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia (A)

Round 4 Pick 14: Kurtis Drummond, FS, Michigan State (B+)

Round 4 Pick 20: Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami (Ohio) (A)

Round 5 Pick 20: Ibraheim Campbell, SS, Northwestern (A)

Round 6 Pick 20: Deion Barnes, DE, Penn State (B)

Round 7 Pick 20: Sean Mannion, QB, Oregon State (A)

Not bad. Not sure if I like Funchess that much. We need a speed WR.

Comp picks are based on the year prior. We added Jenkins, Carroll and Sanchez. We didn't lose anybody I can think of that would count.

I love the way that kid tackles! He's a clean hitter and a text book tackler! We need that in our secondary!

We are a lot better there than in the secondary. We can fill any DL holes with later round run stuffers like Beau Allen.
