Lets start it off with some you tube videos of past drafts revisited to get us warmed up for tonight

That's just mean. God, I wanted SF to draft Aaron Rodgers so badly.

Rodgers was a G-D California Bear, not some Wisconsin cheese fart. Rodgers has turned out to be kind of a douche IMO, but he could have been OUR douche! Then again, we probably never would have drafted CK if we had Rodgers.

Luke Joeckel - T - Player

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the Chiefs have informed Luke Joeckel that Eric Fisher will be the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday night's draft.

Per the NY Daily News' Manish Mehta, Fisher has not been informed that he'll be the top pick. If true, though, the Jaguars will have plenty of teams trying to trade up and take Joeckel in the No. 2 spot. As was reported on Wednesday, the Chiefs coaching staff preferred Fisher over Joeckel, while the scouts wanted Joeckel. Coach Andy Reid appears to have won out. Fisher has also been receptive to the idea of playing right tackle should Branden Albert not be traded.

Not only is this hillarious, but it confirms what I think about 95% of football fans. The guy made up college players & asked these fans what they think about 'em:

Here is where the 49ers started drafting well outside the 1st round

Here is last years draft. I wonder how many of these players people forgot were on the team, but we4re injured when drafted or injured during training camp and missed all of 2012 season

Bad when a NY Giants fan is the smartest one in the group.

Well, look at the fans they interviewed. Jets, Raiders, Cowgirl, and Redskin fans are not noted for their intelligence. Otherwise they would be 49ers fans.

that seems to imply you want Kaep over Rodgers? if so, fine and not knocking Kaep in ANY way, but if we had drafted Rodgers in 2005, wouldn't be a bad thing?

even now and looking forward, Rodgers is established whereas Kaep only has 10 games. the NFL QB is about passing first and foremost, Rodgers is a more proven passer than Kaep.

I'm reading a bunch of people saying that the Chiefs told Luke Joekel that they're going to take Eric Fisher with the 1st pick overall unless they trade the pick.

1. Fisher

Jacksonville, you're on the clock.

I saw that on ESPN. But no one told Fisher yet that he was the pick. Still might be a smoke screen to try and drub up a trade.

There is no question that Rodgers is the more established passer, but I learned with Alex that fans need to accept whatever we get. Alex was a Niner, so I supported him till the end (even during the contentious months when Kap took over, & we argued over who was best for the team). Rodgers would have been my pick, but I tried to have faith in the front office.

If it was a choice between moving up and having to give up 31 and 34, or staying put, I would prefer they stay put. I think at those two spots they could get their choice of TE, dline, or safety to really help the team.

The Niners have 13 picks. There's no way 13 rookies make the roster. I would trade up to 8th & select Tavon Austin.

Well, 4 of those 13 picks are 7th rounders, and 2 of 'em can't be traded. And the other 2 have almost no value; the only potential value would be to trade 'em for future 6th rounders maybe (and I doubt teams would do that). I think the first 8 picks (rounds 1-5) have an excellent chance of all making the roster.

Oh, and I would be enraged if they traded up for Tavon. Anzah or trade down!
