The upside and athleticism are obviously appealing, but I get flashbacks to freaking Kentwan Balmer when I hear things like that. It might not be fair to Hageman, but still.

They said the same thing 2years ago about Dontari Poe. His first year he was average still learning the nuances of the position. His 2nd year he simply dominated. Hangeman will experience a similar 2 year plan in the NFL. I'd be very happy if ended being in a 9ers uni.

I would wet my pants for Hageman... I wouldn't be mad drafting him over a deep WR or top CB.... But latter still remains my focus...

@SeniorBowlPhil: WR-wise, three JR's may steal the show: Oregon State's Brandin Cooks, A&M's Mike Evans and Ole Miss standout Donte Moncrief.

Jadeveon Clowney - DL - Gamecocks

A "few" NFL evaluators polled by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport believe South Carolina edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney projects as a SAM LB in Romeo Crennel's 3-4 defense.

"Is athletic enough," observed Rapoport. We certainly agree, as the 6-foot-6, 274-pound Clowney is one of the most athletically gifted defensive prospects we've ever seen. Clowney, who collected 130 tackles, 24 sacks and nine forced fumbles during a three-year Gamecocks career, reportedly ran a 4.54 40-yard dash and vertically jumped 38 inches last spring.

I'm sorry, but how long has it been since some of us have been saying this?

Kyle Fuller - DB - Hokies

NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock sees Virginia Tech CB Kyle Fuller as one of the most underrated players in the draft.

"If [Darqueze Dennard of Michigan State and Fuller] both run well [at the combine], I think they're going to climb even higher, especially the Fuller kid, who most people have in the second or third round, and I think he's a first-round player," Mayock said. Fuller (6-foot-0, 193 pounds) suffered through an injury-plagued campaign in 2013, which might allow a team to grab a steal in the second round.

Yep, he probably won't make it to 30.

Jason Verrett - DB - Horned Frogs

NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock ranks TCU CB Jason Verret as his top nickel back prospect.

"The only reason I wouldn't say he's a top-20 pick is because of his size," Mayock said. "He's 5-(foot)-9, probably 185 (pounds). But he's ideal for the slot, because he's quick-footed, and he's tough. Remember, the slot guys, what gets overlooked is that you've got to tackle also. And this is a tough kid." Rotoworld's Josh Norris agrees that Verret's best work is done in the slot, but thinks the Horned Frogs' star can also handle the outside. Verret will likely be a top two-round pick.

I only gave it a thumbs down because now everyone is looking at him and I feel it would be highly unlikely he makes it to 30...

if Benjamin runs sub 4.5, he is probably a top 15 selection.

If Evans runs 4.6, will he fall to the latter part of the first round?

Who's the odds on favorite? Maybe Cooks? That's $2500 per yard!
