Per McKenzie the Oilers are trying to move their 1st and 2nd round picks (#7, #37, #56 overall) for immediate roster help.
Boyle & Marleau for all 3. Maybe kick in a mid-D man.

Pavelski+2nd rounder for a #7 overall pick is tempting. That would free up 4M for dougie to go shopping and land a cornerstone player. If the oilers really are shopping, the sharks could play their cards right and have the "refresh" done at this draft. They already have 4 picks in the 1st 2 rounds, so adding one or two more could give them 6 legit prospects. 2 or 3 years from now, just when the big two are winding down, the sharks would have a glut of 21 and 22 year old studs in the system to take over.
I love pavs but he is gunna get 5+ as a UFA next year easy, and I dont want dougie giving him huge money and term, not to mention he'll be 30 next summer when that new deal would kick in so the decline would be coming shortly.
Personally, I wouldnt mind the sharks stocking up this summer on picks. Should be interesting...
If he could pull that off I'd be impressed, doubtful he could sign lecavillier as a replacement but it would be cool if he did
Vinny is slow and a major defensive liability. Sharks have a better chance of winning with Pavelski as 3rd line center over Vinny.
Hardly anything UFA wise helps the sharks lol
Why do you hate Clarkson so much?
When did the Sharks turn into Toronto Maple Leafs West? They've been linked to just about every name rumored available.
Its offseason and those rumors guys need to keep the paychecks coming in so write away lol
wheres half lap? as in thats how long his shifts last before injuryYou'd think they would pick a bigger market than San Jose to troll...
Well, if they are right I give you the San Jose Sharks 2013-2014 line up:

Torres - Lecavalier - Hertl
Desjardins - Burish - Wingels
Vlasic - Braun
Stuart - Letang

Well Joe leaving is a little crazy but by the looks of it something is going to happen. Sounds like someone will be leaving for sure.
