The Legends are actually the D League team for the Dallas Mavericks. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers are the ones affiliated with Houston.

That says more about what a consistent franchise they have been historically than it does about this year's team. Impressive.

One of many reasons that I don't expect their losing ways to last beyond another season or two.

Pretty sure OKC plays Perkins just to troll other teams. The Nets aren't guarding him at all and its funny to see him get shot 5 feet from the basket without being contested.

Must be it. Every metric ever invented shows OKC is worse with Perkins on the floor. He should not play any more than 10 minutes (just to give guys rest).

But imagine how good OKC would be if they didn't have to play 4 vs 5 every game?

It's because all the prime time games seem to include teams like the Knicks, Lakers, Nets, or Bulls and all of those teams are awful.

For example last night they had Cavaliers vs Knicks on TNT. Cavs are 16-30 and the Knicks are 19-27. Instead of the Suns (28-18) vs the Pacers (35-10).

Its about time we get the Grizzlies back in primetime, btw. The race for seeding in the West is going to be interesting with Memphis playing well, Minnesota hanging around and Dallas staying in. Only 1 of those 3 is likely getting in barring a total collapse from Golden St or the Clippers.

Next Thursday is another example of a double header that looks shitty now but looked great in the preseason:

On ESPN this wed they have POR @ NYK and MIA @ LAC. They should have replaced the Knicks game with Phoenix & Houston or Dallas @ Memphis

Sunday Feb 9th is another example of games that looked good in the preseason. ABC DH is NYK @ OKC & CHI @ LAL.

Can't lie going through the national tv schedule for the next few weeks is depression due to these crappy matchups thanks to superstars being out or a team just being very overrated like the Knicks

The next legit national tv DH is February 20th as Miami head to OKC & Houston heads to GSW. After that (barring schedule changes by ESPN) we don't get another really good DH (where all 4 teams are really good) until April 3rd when SAS play in OKC while Dallas travels to LAC. The following week we have another one as Miami heads to Memphis and OKC play in LA to see the Clippers

Worth mentioning on the main board that the Memphis Grizzlies had only 1 Free Throw attempt against the Hawks which is an NBA record. Amazingly, the Grizzlies also won.

Sick stat, I was so pissed at myself when I saw that through 33 minutes they each had 52 points and I did not bet the under like I felt should have. 2 Defensive teams missing scorers and with ATL at home...AAAAGHHH I suck at life.

Oden had 4 rebounds, 1 steal 1 block (and just 3 PFs) in 11 minutes...if MIA can get that production for 22 minutes in may...Lonegranger will be under suicide watch.
