Those things go in cycles, so think of it as your team improving rather than it's conference weakening. Both are possible,after all.

I actually really like ATL in the future, their front court is set for a couple of years and they have draft picks to fill out the front court.

They have a lot of options and building directions.

Embarrassing for the Eastern Conference yes, but not for the NBA in general IMO.

It's one of those things that goes in cycles. No league can keep it from happening or make it happen.

Long story short it's not worth paying any attention to, worrying about or being ashamed about.
