I think Sushi has one of the best rotations in this draft, if not the best one. With that being said I just dont think he has enough in the middle of his order to keep up in this one. I think this is a really close one. He has the rotation advantage but not a huge advantage.

I think my lineup and bullpen is better. I got me winning in a close one.

I really wanted to vote sushi since I thought he had the best rotation in this mock, but Shane's rotation isn't much worse and he is better everywhere else than sushi.

I got Shane.

I got me in a close one.

Shane pointed out the middle of my order, but between Palmiero and Sosa I have over 1100 home runs combined. Martinez and Belle are near career 300 hitters with great pop too. Beltran in the 2 hole for me 428 himself. I have two guys in Tejada and Caminiti at the bottom of my order who were league MVPs. I think I have enough power and speed to get some runs on the board. I think with my rotation, it won't take much to get the W's.

I have two guys I can throw in late in Battey, Young and Green in the field late in the game two give me three more gold glovers in the field. My BP isn't great, but it's solid enough and has over a combined 1000 saves.

Sushi has the better rotation, not by a huge margin and I have the edge on BP. Just wanted to look at some avg, obp numbers...

Hamilton - .344, .455 Mcgraw - .334, .466 --- pretty even
Beltran - .281, .353 Gwynn - .338, .388 --- Big advantage Shane
Palmeiro - .288, .371 Gehrig - .340, .447 --- BIG advantage Shane
Sosa - .273, .344 Klein - .320, .379 --- Advantage Shane
Martinez - .300, .365 Gonzalez - .295, .343 Slight advantage Sushi
Belle - .295, .369 Averill - .318, .395 --- Advantage Shane
Tejada - .285, .336 Minoso - .298, .389 - Big Advantage Shane
Caminiti - .272, .347 Kent - .290, .356 - slight advantage Shane
Herman - .304, .367 Kendall - .288, .366 - Pretty even

Sushi has the the power but I had the guys that could get on base. I guess it just depends on what you like more unless you think he is rotation has a very big advantage. Nonetheless, great team Sushi. You have the nest rotation in this draft.

Walter would normally be a slight advantage over Lefty, but that is negated by the fact that five of your first six batters are lefty hitters, making that about a draw at best
