I still think you guys would kill it in the MAC. Couple close calls in conference play, but can't see a sure loss. It is the OCC of those MAC teams Michigan would have to negotiate.

It’s going to be frustrating in these next few games where the line can actually hold off the MAC defensive line. Seeing what this offense could be like with good pass protection.

Home OSU D vs #107 Oregon St: 392 yds, 31 pts
Away Mich D vs #12 Notre Dame 302 yds, 24 pts

Total yards of Offense:
ND: 302
UM: 307

Damn I wish UM had those first two ND drives back. Those totally changed the trajectory of that game. For as sloppy as everything was, the stats aren't terrible. But damn man. That offensive line is hard to overlook.

Damn I wish UM had those first two ND drives back. Those totally changed the trajectory of that game. For as sloppy as everything was, the stats aren't terrible. But damn man. That offensive line is hard to overlook.

Almost half of those total yards for Michigan came in the 4th Qtr. ND's defense obviously played differently. It should be alarming from a Michigan standpoint they were at their best when the defense was playing passive and the Michigan offense needed to get out of character to be successful.

Just stop trying to rationalize the loss. So you think it's accurate to compare yardage totals when N.D. & meeeechegan are ranked & the other 3 games you mentioned those teams didn't play a ranked opponent?

That’s kind of the point. Michigan faired better against a ranked opponent on the road than those other teams defense at home against non ranked.

Buckeyes had freshman playing early. MI had starters in the while time.
