Oh look, another thread meant to troll up Seahawk fans. How unusual for this board eh? :L

No one in the NFL has as many come from behind wins as Wilson over the last 3 years. He may not be asked to win games single handed through the air as a normal game plan, but when asked he has done so with flying colors.

How can anyone read a statement about 'and he probably never will be' without totally discrediting the person who made it. Had he just left it in the present tense it's just an opinion. Adding that makes him a fucking clown.
I posted it because its a shitty list. There are also 9 other QBs on it. At first I thought it was a countdown and they put Wilson at #1 which was ridiculous to me among others. If you feel I was trolling, you are wrong.

That is unfair because what makes him valuable is his ability to run at a moments notice, improvise, and make something happen.
That;s what he does.

Yeah when it comes to rbs everyone accounts their rushing numbers and their receiving numbers and all around backs get high praise.

Yet when it comes to the QB position a lot of people ignore rushing yards and tds.

Sure Russell doesn't throw for 4000 yards, but what about the 800 + yards he rushed for? All the first downs he got with his feet, all the drives he kept alive scrambling, and big plays made possible because he was able to evade pressure and give his wrs enough time to eventually get open.

It's hard to measure Russell's value when you're only looking at his passing numbers.

Detroit can only dream of trading Donkey Kong for Wilson.

I think the list is fine. I disagree with the narrator about Wilson certainly. But it seemed to be that he was just punting on that and figured it would get him more that listing Mark Rypien. So I undertstand his motivation.

Well except for that interception from the one yard line.

That was a dumb play, but it wasn't really a bad throw more than it was just a great play by the DB... He read it from the start and jumped that route perfectly... My god I still can't believe we even attempted that throw...

Wilson is a game manager. If he ever (he inevitably will) gets hurt and can't run, he will be proven as such. Goodnight

Unless he was a 49r ... Then his future would be bright and full of promise .... lol Kinda hard to call a QB just a game manager when he's led his team to back to back Super Bowl appearances... That's some pretty good game managing...

I agree with many of them but the #1 is really going to piss of a certain fan base.

I wonder where I got that idea.

As someone else pointed out there are a limited number of QB's who have ever actually won a SB so a list of 10 takes up over 25% them. It's highly subjective and rather pointless.

I've said it many times and it holds true here. I don't give a flying fuck how bad others feel our QB is. As long as they keep winning I really don't care who gets or deserves the credit for it. Just win.

What exactly is the criteria for this list?

Is it how the QB is thought of by the public and the media or the actual numbers that he produces?

Say what you want about Flacco but he has 4 post seasons averaging over 90 qb rating and 2 over 100. The year he won it he threw 11 tds and 0 ints. His regular season numbers while not Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning esque is still good. Inconsistent from year to year but still overall good.

Same with Eli...except he won 2 and was pretty spectacular all around in both superbowl runs.

Russell..I almost feel like he's thrown in there to stir the pot otherwise it's laughable that he's considered

Other QBs more deserving

Ken Stabler (Raiders)
- Career 194 tds 222 ints

Jim Plunkett
- Career 164 tds 198 ints (67.5 QB rating career)

Doug Williams
- Career 69 qb rating and 49 % completion percentage

Maybe the goof was a Raider fan?

Naw, no one under 30 is a Raider fan.

fuck y'all I like his list anyway

My pick would be Terry Needle Bradshaw, without "steroids" who knows what kind of NFL career he would've had? Maybe with his natural god given talent he still would've had those stellar super bowl performances, and steroids had no impact at all. Just ask Steeler fans who are always accusing Patriot fans of cheating every QB in that era was doing them.

To a degree this is kinda like listing out the 10 ugliest SI swimsuit covergirls.... or the 10 dumbest geniuses.
