Unloaded their system? By putting guys on the big league roster?

Other than first base, the Red Sox big league club is a product of the farm system.

Did the Yankees unload their system by putting Judge and Sanchez on the big league team?

What is your problem?

There isn't a major contributor on that pitching staff you keep hanging your season on that comes from their system

Not a one

And maybe they should have unloaded the guy that has to split time with Chris Young

He doesn't like it when someone questions the holiness of Brian Cashman.

Note, that this is also the same guy that will seriously tell you that Brady isn't that good of a quarterback, is merely a product of the system, and is more overrated than any player in the NFL.

LOL. Yeah that's it. The Sox simply had no players that could interest the White Sox for Robertson, Kahnle, and Frazier.

If you don't recognize that this was a packaged salary dump, than I don't know what to tell you. I think you should probably take comfort in getting Kahnle in the mix and just leave it at that.
I said this the other day, the Yankees have better mid-level prospects than the Red Sox in order to swing a deal like this. Because the Yankees have a deeper farm system right now, they are willing to part with Rutherford. They were able to put together a better package. Sure the Red Sox have guys that the White Sox would be interested in, but because they are the only two worthwhile guys left, the Sox aren't willing to do it.

Can you give me Xander Boegarts numbers this season and we could decide together on this year, and possibly the impact of having Dustin Pedroia and not Big Papi batting behind him

Why do we need to decide together? You just told me that we're going by what "everybody around baseball says"

You're all over the road, DDD.

Yeah, that was all the GM. Not the $5 billion that they outspent the competition with over that time.
There's obviously a difference between 2009 and the previous seasons.

Have the Red Sox finished ahead of all the teams they've spent billions more than every year?

Payroll rarely if ever equates to titles in today's game

He's actually been pretty fair about Tom Brady to me when we talk.

All over the road?

I'm specifically discussing 2017

Do you think "all around baseball" people are saying Boegarts is having a great year?

I'd say there's a better chance that not doing the trade would have cost them the 2016 Super Bowl and possibly beyond, than it did cost them the 2015 Super Bowl.

The Patriots offensive line is the reason they lost to the Broncos.

Trey Flowers' sack is not the reason they beat the Falcons.

Finding good value with the 4th round pick doesn't mean they won the trade.

Give me Logan Mankins vs the Broncos in the 2015 AFCCG and I refuse to believe the offensive line gets treated like a turnstile all night.

Don't get me started on that.

I like Trey Flowers as much as the next guy. But that was one of the worst moves of Belichick's career in New England.
last year was flowers, this year it will be grissom who breaks out. he has to...

No more or less than they're saying it about Machado or Lindor. Are they completely awful too?

So you are telling me that having Mankins in 2015 increases the odds of winning the Super Bowl more than the odds decrease by not having Trey Flowers in 2016?

Not even mentioning anything that Trey Flowers does beyond this year.

And if the think the Red Sox didnt make such a deal because of finances the way they throw money around, you drink a lot of the Kool Aid

Whining over payroll from Boston, you got a pair of balls

You team is paying Allen Craig and Rusney Castillo 22 million this season

Unfortunately for you, my feelings on Cashman echo that of people that know a lot more baseball than you and i, and also echo the feelings of non Yankee and Red Sox fans, as evidenced by a thread started here last year

they lost because brady threw 2 picks. its what he does in big postseason games. see bowl, super. he was sacked 4 times not a huge number. add to that they ran a total of 17 times (if you count bradys 3) to denvers 30. bolden got 5 carries lol.

Yes I did.

Now, can you answer the question straight up or are you just going to try to avoid it by asking another question?

Dont put Xander Boegarts in the class of Lindor or Machado

And yes, people around baseball have said its pretty mysterious that Machado sucks this season
