To be fair, you're ice-skating uphill if you try and argue against his resume.

You can give all the credit in the world to Rob Gronkowski. Brady's got 4 rings without him.

Same for Edelman. 3 rings without him.

You can say all you want about the Bruschi/Vrabel defenses of years gone by. 2 rings without them.

Everyone likes to point to legendary drives like Montana vs the Bengals or Elway vs the Browns.

Brady going 92 yards, down 8 with 4 mins to go vs the Falcons trumps them all.

You're throwing punches at ocean waves at this point if you try to dispute his resume.

To be fair, Im a Giants fan, so my opinion will always be skewed by the fact that Tom Brady is the white Cleo Lemon when we play him in big games

He was coasting by on the Babe Ruth like hotstreak he got on before the break. He's been much more consistent this year. He's been one of the absolute bright spots of the 2017 lineup.

dont hate him, again, i would take him

I just think "good" hitters on the Sox are the best hitters they have, and they have a lotta outs in that lineup

one sack a quarter avg vs a VERY good defense...i'll take it.
denver is the one place brady routinely plays like ass
it was 17 for 44 rushing
edelman was barely a factor, they shadowed him. 7 for 53 from the slot, for a quick release QB and system? if the pass rush was the problem, edelman should have been the answer.

hi snoog

I'll give you baseball guys calling me Snoog the same thing that I gave all the Heat fans that keep saying I'm Wiggy and Lakers fans who keep saying I'm JDM and Notre Dame fans who say I'm Swordz. I'm ignoring the alt talk moving forward. This place and its alt obsession is tiresome. It happens in every thread with every new guy.

A long time ago I posted on SoSH as TrotDaubach. That's about it.

Fair enough. And let's just say I don't hold Cashman in very high regard either. I would like to see Cashman work for a mid or low market team and see how he does. Shit if he took over a pretty high payroll team like the Tigers and took them to the Series after a few years, I'd be impressed. I just think he's probably had an easier road than most if not all other GMs in the business.

And the results have been better than anyone in the business, whether you want to admit that or not

There are titles, records, standings, that support that

And the fact this team has never crashed in any season on his watch, is pretty impressive......Even high payroll Red Sox teams have ended in last place a couple of times during a total rebuild....

The Yankees go through a total rebuild, build the best or 2nd best farm system in the game, and still are competing for postseason play throughout it all (although last season was fools gold, postseason was never happening)

Pretty impressive

Too bad that he didn't have that guy you called the greatest tight end of all time last time they met.

Let's just say I think Cashman is a product of the system.

I think they go 15-1 at worse this season....Ill give the Bills OR Dolphins the win

I was riding in a friends car Saturday. These idiot fans on the radio were blabbering on about 19-0 already.

Can we see if our 40 year old quarterback can avoid a week 6 quarterback controversy first before we go undefeated, assholes?

I have no tolerance for sports talk radio. Much less the humps that infest Boston.

The Red Sox are 5th in the league in OBP, so they're making fewer outs than most teams. What's hurting them is a lack of power and poor production from 3B/C.

Yeah, between the competition in the league, and the lack of weaknesses on that roster, its pretty easy to envision some big things

Even for someone like me who looks for reasons to predict a 4-12 season
