The thing is Marleau is untradeable, except for maybe Jordin Tootoo. No one wants this guy. Should have let the kings deal with his pansy ass. This team needs Doan, Ott and Iginla. Im drunk, Im just throwing shit out there. I want guys that are tough and nasty. I cant stand the Marleaus, Semins and Backstroms. Those guys wont win shit. I feel bad for OVIE. That guy has it and he has to deal with those losers, just like we have the Marleaus and heatleys. This team has a nice base, now can we get rid of the softies. I think Jumbo is in to win for once. Fuck it Im drunk, just blabbing and still cant believe all the years of my life I have lost stressing about the Sharks.

Heatley hasnt been that bad. He was also really good in ottawa's run the cup. I think he came here and started playing with jumbo and patty and the complete lack of effort from those two helped carry over to heater's game. I think that's why he has been much better this PO's as a result of jumbo's effort.

Only patty stands out right now as gutless. However, I think he is extremely tradable. The big problem is that dougie has basically guaranteed him a job for life full of big money. When patty had that awful 47 pt, -20 season, dougie could have dealt him then and ended this misery. I dont remember what the rumors were at the time (something with MTL, I think), but instead kept him and gave him the big bucks. For all the "career PO leader" type statements, since 06-07 he has just 35 points, -10 in 55 PO games. That's terrible.

When it's time for a change, call speedy patty trade and move up.

I think patty drives a Gutlass Supreme

Heatley had one good playoff run his entire career, other then that he has been wet hot trash. Never produced outside of that stanely cup run.

That being said he has gotten better each game to, he is doing a lot of little things he hadnt done in the past.

Nah, Many sharks fans are as gutless as gutless. The media and fans defend their boys no matter what. After this many years of sucking it up, the defense response to JR's call-out on behalf of gutless shows why certain individuals dont need to care. The media wears soft dove white gloves and the players are not truly held accountable here. Why do you think so many carefree perennial losers migrate here and love it?

I'd like to see gutless perform in a flyers jersey. Then he'd really have to watch out for a drive-by.

I am not a big heatley fan, and I've been disappointed with his play without question. However, he has produced more than gutless since his arrival in the PO's and that was pretty injured last year. I think he has a fair amount to go, but he has also shown in his career than he can dominate. I havent seen what I've wanted from him, but he is more explosive than gutless and I'd rather have him.

That said, I would rather have brad richards over any player on the team. He's a UFA, and if they can move gutless for a top pick (maybe to edmonton for #1 overall?) then they can take a shot at richards to get a legit proven guy. Pipe dream? of course, but I've been dreaming of the day gutless is gone for many a night...
