Not having a good feeling about this game. We lose our best heart and soul player and leading scorer and the Wings are inserting one of the most prolific Sharks killers in league history into their lineup? I don't care if Modano is old and injured, the Sharks always manage to make these old washed up players look good somehow or other, especially guys who have burned them in the past like Selanne, Hull, Modano, etc.

So Ferriero will slide into Clowe's spot? Just don't mess up defensively is all I ask for from him.

Bad news -- My broken crystal ball says tonight's game will be a blowout win by Detroit. Maybe even with a hat trick by Modano sprinkled in. Thankfully it's early for us PST people and I'll be at work but I didn't even bother to set the DVR and don't plan on watching any of it.

Good luck to those of you watching... try to not break too many things in hour respective households!

I don't think Clowe has looked all that god the last couple of games. He was getting beat against the boards and not being his usual "power forward" self. I think The move here is to rest him up and if the Sharks pooh the bed (with Patty shruging next to the evidence) then Todd can ask Clowe to be that 'go-to' guy.

Lets hope we dont need him..

Hopefully Niemi can have a monster game (like he did alot last year) and Howard will flop (for once) to help this along. I am really hoping for stinker from Howard. Please!! Niemi doesn't have the loser mentality that has hit the Sharks throughout the past few years in the playoffs.......yet.....I hope.

P.S. So Clowe is this years Michalek? Take a big hit and season over as was the case with Michalek twice (once with Torres and then with Morrow).
