Now the only bad thing could be that he actually got up, walked out, and started crying - then i take back both 1 & 2.

Now that would be funny. I do not doubt that he got pissed off and walked out of the meeting. I have done it a couple times with my boss myself so it is something that I can easily see Bradford or anyone else doing.

The fact that he decided to go back to Oklahoma makes sense too. If I am pissed I would want to go home as well.

I just hope Samantha can string together 1 decent healthy year and net us some trade value.

Yeah, if he gets us into the playoffs, we could get back the 1st round pick we need next year.

Sounds like the QB's are taking equal reps in OTA's. While I'm sure it doesn't mean much ... wonder what would happen if Wentz outplays Bradford off the bat? Would Pederson stick to the plan or deviate? I have a feeling that while the Eagles are saying all the right things on Bradford ... they would love it if Wentz forced their hand in starting him game 1.

Wentz would be an interception machine if he started game 1.

Yup...I agree. The smart thing would be to let him sit a couple years.

Wentz needs to get ready by mid-season. Can't learn much in street clothes inactive for games. Bradford is ripe for getting hurt and he won't play hurt for a team not committed to him.

I think Howie is being smart. Bradford could be worth a lot more (trade value) to a team that loses their QB for the year. :)

I was thinking the same thing ... or QB's getting hurt in the pre-season. Have all your QB's ready in case opportunity knocks.

Here is the exact quote from Sal. "He left the campus at NovaCare rather abruptly, went back to Oklahoma..."

In Sal's fabricated story Sam walked out of a meeting and got on a plane (calling Condon on the way to the airport). In reality Sam practiced in Philadelphia, which is not in Oklahoma.

Sal lied about that fact because it made for better radio which is one of his main jobs - presenting himself as worth talking to. That doesn't have to be based in facts and often it isn't, because a lie can stir up more discussion.

You can choose to take your facts from Sal's twisted head, or you can take your facts from reality. That is up to you. I suggested you let the facts lead you instead of Sal. You are apparently choosing the latter.
Except Sam said he did go back to Oklahoma.

Sam also said Condon told him we should try to get you to another team... completely contradicting Sal's made up story.

He did go back to Oklahoma eventually. But the facts mess up Sal's nice succinct narrative that plays well on radio and gets people excited about the story. Sal's a liar. And for good reason.

You really should have just admitted you were wrong and moved on. You do nothing but dig yourself a deeper hole because you can't keep your story straight.

The majority of us reading this comment from you take it as meaning Sal Pal lied about Bradford going to Oklahoma. Well it appears that Bradford did go to Oklahoma which makes your statements completely wrong. However, let's take it a little further. Your own statements work against you. You claim Bradford practiced in Philadelphia and he very well could have been practicing before all of this came about. The Eagles mini camp was April 17-21 and they traded up on April 20. I am pretty sure that trade happened at some point after practice was over. That is just a guess to be honest because I do not have the drill schedule. My assumption is the meeting happened either late on the 20th or on the 21st when camp was ending. Bradford came out and said he was not going to attend any voluntary programs after that. However I cannot find anything in the statement where Sal Pal lied. So in conclusion Bradford did leave and go to Oklahoma. I was not able to find anywhere in the story where Sal Pal mentioned he skipped practice or did not practice at all.

You posted a link that where Eskin called Sal Pal a liar. Eskin was claiming that Sal Pal was full of shit. Eskin took issue with Sal Pal saying Bradford stormed out of a meeting. The problem here is Eskin did not verify anything either. He took an article title and ran with it. There is no mention of Sal Pal saying Bradford stormed out of a meeting. The quote was he walked out. Then he said that Bradford left the Novacare complex abruptly. Well that was verified. He did leave and go back to Oklahoma.

Another comment you made does not make sense either. You mention and I quote "Sam also said Condon told him we should try to get you to another team" That actually lines up with what Sal Pal said. He stated that perhaps on the way to Oklahoma he called Condon. The key word here is perhaps....get out your dictionary and look it up. It should make sense to you that Sal Pal did not say that portion of his story was a fact. It is all about basic comprehension.

I'll try to keep it simple for you:
Sam left a meeting. Sam practiced. Sam went to Oklahoma. In that order.

And Sal (ignoring the facts of the story so that his version would sound better for radio and produce the effect of getting people all uppity) implied Sam directly leaving the meeting and going to Oklahoma. That wasn't what happened.

Sal said Sam asked Condon to find him a team, right after that meeting, on the way to the airport (remember Sal is weaving a story here - he can't let the facts get in the way of a good narrative - a hollywood styled "based on a real story but make it more exciting than the real thing" type of fiction). And that's a piece of fiction from Sal. Instead, Condon gave Sam advice about situations like this from his time working in the league. Denver seemed possible to them, but the Eagles didn't want it to happen at Denver's price. Condon was working in Sam's best interests for his career. Interests that do not include Philadelphia because Philadelphia moved on from Sam when they drafted Wentz.

Well if that was Condon's job, he did a horrendous job. He couldn't find a team before Bradford acted like an spoiled asshole. Now nobody wants him, he's a source of disgust and derision throughout the league.

I never said otherwise. You were the one repeatedly arguing against it.

And Sal (ignoring the facts of the story so that his version would sound better for radio and produce the effect of getting people all uppity) implied Sam directly leaving the meeting and going to Oklahoma. That wasn't what happened.

Again.....you have not shown anything to suggest that he ignored the facts. What makes this comment so dumb is that you seem to think Sal Pal is the only one that does this. Just about ever journalist alive does this.

Sal said Sam asked Condon to find him a team, right after that meeting, on the way to the airport (remember Sal is weaving a story here - he can't let the facts get in the way of a good narrative - a hollywood styled "based on a real story but make it more exciting than the real thing" type of fiction). Sal said "perhaps" so I can only conclude you did not look the definition up. You are college educated so I am pretty sure you know what it means but you repeatedly ignore it.

Yes Bradford told Condon to try to find another team. He just went about it the wrong way an in the end was made to look like a complete jackass.

Yes Sal Pal is trying to create a story. He would not be doing his job if he did not. In the end though it has been proven the most important points of his story were accurate.

You did not hold Sal responsible for saying otherwise. Instead you accepted all that he had to say on the subject. If you had better reading comprehension you would see that I always said he practiced which contradicts Sal's tall tale that he left in a hissy for Oklahoma straight from the meeting.

Again.....you have not shown anything to suggest that he ignored the facts. What makes this comment so dumb is that you seem to think Sal Pal is the only one that does this. Just about ever journalist alive does this.

Only over and over again have I shown it. Where did I say Sal is the only one? What I have been saying is his story lacks credibility for a number of reasons, and most importantly because 1)it's in contradiction of the known facts and 2) Sal's motive is to spin a tale.

Sal said "perhaps" so I can only conclude you did not look the definition up. You are college educated so I am pretty sure you know what it means but you repeatedly ignore it.

He said "perhaps" because he didn't know and was making it up, but it did fit in with his already fabricated narrative. You only know what Sal said. Bradford said otherwise and he was actually the one involved.

Yes Sal Pal is trying to create a story. He would not be doing his job if he did not. In the end though it has been proven the most important points of his story were accurate.

Yes, Sal is trying to create a story. Finally you are getting it. Or perhaps you have no idea what "create" means.

So far you have proved nothing except that you like Sal's story more.

I am honestly shocked at how a guy like Sam freaking Bradford can inspire the kind of anger and butt-hurt emotion that Eaglesnut is showing. What has this guy done, ever, in the NFL to warrant that kind of fan support?

The guy has shown himself to be a straight-up coward afraid of a rookie who hasn't even taken a snap. It's sad. Yet Eaglesnut is willing to defend him like he is some kind of cornerstone to a franchise?
