Dude, that roadkill went bad on you a while ago if you really think Tebow could pull out this season for us. That's just ridiculous.

yep you are right

no way could of Tebow throw for a 100 yards in the SB ...that would be crazy predicting that right ?

And I am sure our Running would all but dry up with him he so sucked at that ..

As I stated elsewhere, no sense in giving an unproven QB big money. Let someone else bite that bullet if they're that desperate. I have no reason to believe, as of yet, that Osweiler is anything special. Don't want the next Kevin Kolb or Matt Flynn. Let him earn a big deal.

LOL You make a good point, but don't use Kolb as an example. He is a Houston Cougar!

Well, Kolb was less talent related and more hindered by that fact that NFL defenses really like scrambling his brain. Maybe he could've been good if he could stay healthy. Unlike Matt Flynn, who just sucks.

Ok, i know I said you were crazy, but after looking at other lower tiered starting QBs, I think your $8MM floor isn't a bad prediction.

Of course I still believe you are crazy, but just not on this topic! ;)

My questionable sanity thanks you.

QB Index: Which QBs will be available in 2016?

Oz was fun to watch but he was one and pretty much the play that was called or nothing .. He was not reading D's on blitz's he was running RB's into the mouth of D's .. look I like him but he is not a finished product .. He looked good because he was not asked to win the game other than NE .. towards when he got benched He was starting to get figured out by NFL team and how to defend him .. His numbers were shrinking down

Was he able under Kubiak to change any plays? Manning was not any better then Oz and for how smart Manning is or I mean was sure doesn't matter if you don't have the physical skills anymore. That pass that was intercepted against Manning that was intended for Sanders in the Super Bowl was just awful. He should have saw the defensive end there. I was rooting for a 3 and out every time once the Broncos had the lead or a handoff and no 3rd and longs because Manning can't throw anymore and can't move around in the pocket. I was hoping for a punt every time. When you are rooting for punts and don't want to see any passes that says a lot about Manning. I'm sure I wasn't the only Broncos fan holding my breathe late on every Manning throw.

Look I get it Manning throwing sucked ..but he got our RG going some what by not just running the play ... He was sniffing out what other teams was doing on D just enough for win's for us .

The Manning ship should sail on (if it hasn't already). I do hope he retires. His last game was ugly, even though it was a win. I don't see anything left in his tank.

As for Osweiler, it's very possible he did what he was told to do. It seemed a few times the coaches were keeping things very conservative for Oz. It's very possible with the off season that he will be asked to run more of the play book. Asking him (or any other QB) to do what Manning does is a bit much anyway. But it's very possible Kubiak will give Oz more freedom once the job is his for keeps.

Well he did beat the top two teams in the AFC in crunch time. Elway has seen enough of Brock to make an inform decision on price and over the years Elway and the front office have been pretty good on what is fair market value

While the defense had an historic run this season, Carolina held our pathetic offense to 77 total yards in the 2nd half so I am of the opinion to keep Brock, pay him fair market value if Elway think he can be the QB for the next 5 years.

Always chasing a QB is the worst thing a franchise can face going into every draft.

This was my thought as well. Manning after 14 seasons has seen it all, and can change out of plays more readily than can a guy who sat on the bench for most of his career thus far.

I think Oz is better than we give him credit for, and if he plays here Kube's system will likely make him a lot better.

The coaches did the same thing with Manning - be conservative don't take risks - and that is because somewhere along the line the Coaches realized they have a dominant defense.

The numbers on Osweiler through 7 games say that his play was fair at best. I prefer the eye and ear test. I really liked what I saw from our young QB this year. Were it not for some RB fumbles and dropped passes, I think his production would have been significantly better. He seems smart, poised, has a rocket arm and can scramble out of pressure. He was equally good at handling the media and interacting with his teammates. I continue to think that Elway is going to find a way to lock Osweiler up as the starting QB for our Denver Broncos next year and beyond. I think his ceiling is high and I'm confident that with a full training camp as the number 1 QB, Brock is going to really surprise some folks. For better or worse, young Oz leads our team out of the tunnel in week 1 of the 2016 NFL season.

So let me describe my friend (I'll call him) George. George doesn't like Osweiler - picked way too high - sits on the bench- no real college starter experience.

Now - my friend George - wants to over pay him to stay. As they say in the cartoons George of the Jungle - Watch out for that tree!

I don't think Oz wants to go anywhere and both sides won't have a hard time getting this one done at all. This will be one of the easier deals to work out compared to the others for Elway. IMO.

The CJ Anderson run in OT to beat the Pats was an audible by Oz.

If Osweiler is not an easy sign I don't want him ..what so ever . He should want to stay here . If he want's to hear other teams snick I want him gone ....There are other ways to skin a cat ..

Draft and lower price Free agents or Manning playing for 6 to 8 mill

27. Blaine Gabbert
28. Matt Hasselbeck
Johnny Manziel, Browns
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Chase Daniel, Chiefs

Are you saying to go after Manziel? If so, you are clearly off your rocker. Fitzpatrick would be the only QB on that list I would consider. As a matter of fact, he'd be the only QB on the whole FA list I would consider. Cousins will stay in Washington and I'm not sold on Bradford. I think I'd rather have Oz or Fitz, especially for the money it would take to sign Bradford.

Bingo fem and Fitz isn`t going anywhere. One thing many teams have learned lately is if you have a stout D and a running game, all you need is a qb that can manage game and not kill your offense. Aside from playoff game Fitz did that very well this year ( prob his best yr ever) in the turnover dept. Bradford is off the table for Denver because Oz is going to be the man and only a Daniels or a Yates makes any sense for Denver in the fa qb dept. Either one of those guys I think could at least push Oz and give Denver a reasonably solid back up guy as long as Oz doesn`t fall flat on his face. Oz will be the starter heading into the season unless Elway pulls off a shocker deal. IMO, Denver runs with Oz as starter, pkups Daniels, drafts a qb in rd 5-7, and keeps Siemian as well. End of story. Book it! You guys know I`m psychic right??? ;)
