Kerrigan disappeared yesterday. I thought all year that he wasn't the same player this year but looking at the stats this is who he is. A good player, nothing more, who has had double digit sacks only once in 5 years.

Well if you are going to lose this was better than what Minnesota and Cincy did to their fans and we weren't embarrassed like Houston. So there's that. Really thought we'd win, even at the half. I know GB did short passes but they weren't all quick 3 step drops. Stunned that after the safety we generated no pressure at all. Really disappointed in our pass protection. Also realized the big difference between players like Lachey and Jake vs. Guys like Samuels amd Trent Williams.

Yeah, the complete disappearance of the pass rush was a bummer no doubt. The figurative raping and pillaging the GB running game did on the Skins Def in the 2nd half didn't have me feeling all giddy either. The amount of open space Starks and Lacy always seemed to be in the 2nd half against the Skins defense was troubling.

I think Trent is in Lachey's and JJ's class. At the very least he's noticeably closer than Chris ever was.

Kirk was OK, nothing more. Didn't feel the pressure and of course his 3 fumbles. Didn't throw a pick but could have had several. You make a deal with the devil when you have DJax and we got the bad side. Still you gotta score on first and goal from the 1.

I thought KC missed on a couple deep throws as well, though one may've been on a WR running the wrong route/way.

What does "bad side" encompass exactly? Because I don't think it can be easily dismissed that KC's emergence into a gunslingin stud the 2nd half of the season. Coincided nicely with Djax's return to the line-up. He did piss me off fiercely though with the way he decided to finish that play. I agree you gotta score a TD from the 1 yd line with four downs to work with, but if Djax there, which he should've, problem solved. The fucked up thing about the play was with a minor adjustments here or there its 6 points. Diving in such a manner that only his hand and the ball cross the goal line while in-bounds. Or how bout holding the ball towards the goal line and not away from it. Just making sure you touch the pylon with the ball, like he did with his leg before he goes touches anything out of bounds.

I wasn't aware that Hatcher may be retiring but that's fine. Hardly heard his name yesterday. Is Qunton Dunbar really this good? He could be our starting corner next opener?

So it's over. But damn proud of my team and love the future with SM in charge. We went from laughijg stock to playoff team in 4 short months. Congrats to all of us for that.

Far as Hatcher, if he retires I wish him all the best. If he doesn't retire I hope to see dude in burgundy n gold next year.

Dunbar's a trip ain't he. Unless its a hellified smoke n mirrors deal. Dude is raw and he makes mistakes, but he has some legit CB skills that if honed properly would serve him well as a CB.

Last note, Gruden, at least imo, didn't run enough early on and abandoned the run too early. In a way though it was understandable though as Cuz had absolutely set shit on fire the last 2 1/2 games he played passing-wise.

Thanks for the smiles you gave me this year Washington Redskins, but don't settle for 1 pretty good/OK/half ass decent season this time. Build solidly on this particular foundation.

Back in line buster:D.......you start calling it as you see it and there's no evidence on earth that will sway them from seeing more than what actually exists.:frusty:. Good luck to you and welcome to the light side.

I would like to see Hatcher retire. He is not worth his money He was a non factor yesterday and basically all season. Its funny how all the big money players did not play well yesterday. Jackson, Kerrigan, hatcher, Williams(just average). All of these guys are making at least 7 mil this season.

Actually Kerrigan made just under $7 million this year. Next year he makes $2 million more.

I've been calling out Kerrigan all year, he just didn't appear to have the same burst. As I said a good player but we saw yesterday the difference between a Ryan Kerrigan and a Clay Mathews. Man they need to sign Gillette.

I think you got mine too. Don't say shit that isn't true. Other than two series our defense did not play well. We could not adjust to their hurry up. We got handled. Kerrigan wasn't even the highest paid guy on the defense but that is who I have heard called out all year. Yes I know you said all the higher paid contract guys.

We are undermanned and got further than even the GM expected. Personally I am going to look at this season as a good first step and hope we continue to build.

They will. They should be fine. Again - remember this is a rebuilding team. They were outmanned yesterday & their weaknesses were exposed. NP. They will get back injured players, make some key pickups & make some key acquisitions. This is only year one of a multi-year project. The future looks bright.
