On a serious note, why does our field still look like hell, even with the re sodding at the half way point, 3 away games to end the season and the warm weather DC had?
Interesting take. I just listened to Cousin's press conference. He spoke throughout as if he wants and intends on being back. We have heard Jay say he wants him back, we have heard rumors Scot wants him back. Not sure if we should hear that Dan wants him back. I have said all year that I hope this doesn't turn into Trent Green situation where we let him go and then spend the rest of his career trying to find his replacement.
Looking forward to seeing what news there is about a new stadium. I think it might be built near the National Harbor. There is lots of infrastructure and a great view of Old DC just up the river.
Both Hatcher and the team had to do a lot to get him ready to play each week this year. I wouldn't be shocked if he retired.
I don't understand the Snyder comments. Sure he preferred Griffin but that page has been turned a long time ago. Not sure we should hear from him at all, the silence has been golden.
Well if you are going to lose this was better than what Minnesota and Cincy did to their fans and we weren't embarrassed like Houston. So there's that. Really thought we'd win, even at the half. I know GB did short passes but they weren't all quick 3 step drops. Stunned that after the safety we generated no pressure at all. Really disappointed in our pass protection. Also realized the big difference between players like Lachey and Jake vs. Guys like Samuels amd Trent Williams.
Kirk was OK, nothing more. Didn't feel the pressure and of course his 3 fumbles. Didn't throw a pick but could have had several. You make a deal with the devil when you have DJax and we got the bad side. Still you gotta score on first and goal from the 1.
I wasn't aware that Hatcher may be retiring but that's fine. Hardly heard his name yesterday. Is Qunton Dunbar really this good? He could be our starting corner next opener?
So it's over. But damn proud of my team and love the future with SM in charge. We went from laughijg stock to playoff team in 4 short months. Congrats to all of us for that.
Yeah, if what KC was saying was/is in some way directed at an actual person. Its hard to see it being someone other than Snyder. While we all know who Snyder's choice was, and given what was given to move up to draft Griffin. As well as all the other big name FA signings/trades/bamboozles throughout the Snyder era I don't blame him. I think what KC is saying is...................show me the money.
And on the forilla, Cuz had yet to do anything, at least imo, that really warranted someone wanting him to be their QB till the last half of the season. And he still hasn't QBed the Skins to victory against an opponent that had a .500 or better record when they played against each other.
