We win a game and Jason Cole of Bleacher Report writes an article about how Kirk and Griffin can't be in the same room with each other. laughable and pathetic. Smdh.

Cbs sportswebsite is running with this story. So amateur it's pathetic. RG3 and Cousins were talking before the game. Rg3 was one of the first guys out to congratulate Cousins after a scoring drive. Dumb.

He just moved from Northern Virginia to Alabama for work so he may just be swamped with that. Not sure. Good to see some old friends on here.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes guys.
Rasta! We gotta get the other guys over here. USA today site is lacking. Plus I don't have to moderate here, so I like it :)

Personally I think you have to give Jay Gruden credit as well. Things change, people do too.

We had a first year head coach here who was 0-5. He had been coaching with Don Coryell and the Air Coryell offense. He made a change after game 5 and the HOGs were born. Finished the year 8-3 and the team won the Super Bowl the following year. Some guy named Riggins even turned a 4th and 1 into one of Super Bowls great moments. Now I am not calling Jay Gruden the next Joe Gibbs but good coaches can make philosophical changes.

I'd highly recommend avoiding the political boards if you want to keep your sanity. Unless you like that type of thing. I literally have opened that forum 1 time in my entire time here. Still wiping that cess pool off myself. :happyshake:

Good for duck.............I think. Alabammy eh. I used to go there for summers when I was a kid. I have a lot of kinfolk down there. Good times.

Great to see you here, Rasta. Took me a minute to get used to the place, but I like it quite a bit now. Real good posters here as well in the Skins forum.

I won't be going there. I experienced it on KFFL. I've had to deal with DarrellGreenFan for 10 years. That's more than enough for me.:D

I'm gonna go recruitm
I can't even access it anymore since hey stopped accepting URLs with kffl in them.

that's what I was afraid of. They took off the re-direct from the KFFL URLs and then went "we're updating, please bear with us" for a few weeks. That probably lost them a bunch of users. I'll PM you the new URL in case you want to go back and visit :)

I think that you are correct about the naysayers. However - at least in terms of people who identify themselves as Redskins fans - that number is likely a lot smaller than you believe. Call me naive, but I believe that most true Redskins fans just want a successful team & are not really concerned about the name on the jersey of the starting QB.

Let the mediots do whatever they like since it is obvious that a lot of them are more interested in off field drama then in actually covering the game of football & what transpires on the field. I can only speak for myself and those close to me when I say that we just want to see this team do as well as possible while building a team that hopefully will be a major force in the not too distant future.

Good to see you here Rasta. I've tried to hang with the old site but as you know it's just you, me, Ruz and MSkins now and that's just not enough.

Back to our boys I'm still not totally sold on the defense. This time last year we were also 1-1 after playing 2 crappy offenses and the radio guys were coming up with a nickname for the defenses. Let's play a few legit offenses with better QBs before we start with the naming again.

But the offense, especially the run game, is legit and that will stay with us all yeasr. I still can't believe the change in Lauvao, he was terrible and now he's mauling people. Scherff is obviously a big upgrade but Moses has been equally important. Been a while since we didn't have a swinging gate at RT and a QB incapable of adjusting to pressure.

Lavaou does well in the run game, his pass protection is not great. He is a defiNite upgrade target for next year, especially with his contract. We also need to find licht's replacement as he is just too small and constantly gets bull rushed back.

I'll continue to defend Lich because everyone I hear who studies the film says he's a good center. I've wanted Lauvao replace for a while now but he's not the hack he was the last two years. Maybe the kid from Alabama will be ready then. Sure didn't look like it will be Long.

I spend a lot of time watching the oline. Licht is interesting. He always does a good job keeping his body between the defender and the QB. However, he gets driven back with regularity, causing the pocket to collapse prematurely. It's not as big of an issue with KC as he steps up into the opening, whereas RG would start to backpedal, usually right into the DE/olb who was being pushed to the outside and behind where the QB should be. Licht may not be relaxed next year, but we do need to find his replacement next year and begin the Callahan grooming process. It ain't LeRebius.
