yup

yet one guy is 6'5 and a true pocket passer

one isnt

and if you noticed, brady was asked to do more (passes per game) than wilson.

the funny thing about metrics is you can make them say whatever you want.

Brady is taller than Wilson? The hell you say! Who knew?

The thing people don't realize about Seattle..... We can afford for players to leave, cause when a When Marcus Trufant gets old and retires we replace him with a little known 5th rd CB named Sherman or Brandon Browner, when BB is lost, we replace him with a Byron Maxwell.

Seattle got this good cause of drafting better then everyone else. Did they hit 100% no nobody does, but they hit at a much higher rate then basically every other team in the league.

So players will leave, they will be replaced by cheap rookies, and the circle of life goes on.

Maybe, maybe nopt. But I do think he is looking ffor a bigger stage. He claims he wants to go into politics when his NFL career is over. I don't Seattle is a good place to launch a political career, do you? And he's rubbing shoulders with the celebrity types now. Not much in the way of celebrities in Seattle.

I don't mind if he leaves after this contract is up. That will be, what, 2020? Our all-world defense and Marshawn Lynch will both be a distant memory by then anyway and i doubt if Wilson can carry this team by himself.

Meh, Manning did just fine being the QB of a team based in Indiannapolis.

And you're arguing against yourself with the political idea. If he wants to jump to politics after, then he needs to put down roots, and develop an identify in an area. Why would Seattle be a bad place to do that?

If he wants to go back to Virginia and be a politician THERE after his NFL days are done, why would he be any different than Largent was going back to Oklahoma? Or hell, JC Watts doing it from a different league and even country?

Link? The core I mentioned isn't going anywhere. Brandon MEbane is up next year, as is Russell Okung. But the core is locked up for years!!!

Wazzu, it is hard to reason with purguy, it's like he is reading one quote and responding to another. Go Hawks

clueless.......great stuff. keep going im laughing away my Friday at work.

Brady and Wilson are the same. Love this stuff.

Reading comprehension skills......purguy < the below average person.
Brady, 6 inches taller, FACT
Brady, better pocket pass, Sure, RW = 3 seasons
First 3 season passing stats, almost identical....FACT.

You know how numbers work, right? Either you're really really... uhm.. not smart, or else you're trolling now.

In which case it's us who aren't smart by continuing to respond to your drivel.

How about you just enjoy the twilight years of your boys great career, and we just let Wilson's play out?

In ten years if you're correct, you can scoreboard us then.

You put height first in your post so I just assume you think its the most important thing. Just imagine what Drew Brees could have done if he was just a little taller. He might have really been something.

brees season high in rushing yards?

130...when he was 23. his career average is 1.9 per carry, or basically...falling forward.

wilson?

900 and change. he averages 6 yards a carry.

"whats a pocket passer?"

jesus effing christ.

I don't care if Wilson has to crawl on his belly to gain yards and wins. As long as he's getting the job done and moving the chains I'm happy. And he gets the job done extremely well. Actually, historically well. He's got some of the best numbers of any QB in NFL history in their first 3 seasons. Truth.

Thats the thing you fail to realize. Wilson IS a pocket passer, first and foremost. He can scramble,,,,and alot of times HAS to scramble cause of a piss poor line.

But just because RW is black doesn't make him a scrambling first qb.....

so, i take it after my class you know what a pocket passer is, and how shameful it was to compare brees to wilson in that respect.

i respect your above opinion....but think before you make comparisons going forward.

Then why didn't the future president of the United States launch her political career in Arkansas instead of New York?

C'mon Rock. I was not comparing Brady the player to Wilson the player. I compared their STATS.
Since neither you nor purguy can figure out a point of a message, I'll type slower (for purguy) so you have a better chance.

Brady, in his first 3 years, never passed for more than 4,000 yards, not even close.
Wilson, in his first 3 years, never passed for more than 4,000 yards, not even close.

Brady, in his later years, passed for 4,000+ many times. What changed?

In your and purguys opinion, This type of change will NEVER happen in RW's career! Is that correct?

fail to realize?

ive failed at nothing so far.

hes not a pocket passer whos asked to carry a team.

hes a guy who can make plays with his legs to get clear throwing lanes. he is a 200 yard per contest, game manager.

and i like wilson.
