Hope it all works out for everyone.
It's already worked out for me.

Little romeo is on his own.
Hope it all works out for everyone.
What the hell is going on in here?
Just a little frustration. Not the worst we've seen by far.
I'm not going to say it was right or wrong because that will
start a whole sidebar discussion, but losing Ryan and Hamilton
started the beginning of the end.
in a nutshell, wherever Ryan goes, his teams becomes winners.
How's the team done since Ryan left?
How has Jack Daniels been doing lately with all his moves? Injuries ok,
but you can't ride that forever. The Banister hire, ok but what was wrong with Bogar
after he proved he could win and earned a shot. Bogar knows how to work
situational matchups, banister does not. Work your closer in the 8th? That's
Little league. He's basically Wash II.
As soon as Hamilton left nobody feared this lineup anymore. It was
his presence that made all the difference. Even if he struck out 4 times On
12 pitches the night before he was a force to be reckoned with the next night
And whoever was toeing the rubber knew it.
I agree with Daniels on bringing him back, however in the big
picture I think Daniels has lost his luster.
What a piece of shit season this has been so far.
I'd say their total unraveling can be broken down into 3 main categories:
OFFENSE (Front Office's fault)
1) Didn't re-sign Cruz, replaced him with Choo for a lot more $$
2) Didn't re-sign Napoli to play 1B/DH, opted for the cheaper Moreland
3) Bet too much on Profar, injuries have derailed him so far
4) Because of #3, traded over-paid but fairly reliable Kinsler for even more over-paid and less reliable Fielder
ROTATION (Nobody's Fault)
1) Injuries, plain and simple. A rotation of Darvish-Holland-Perez-Harrison-Lewis (or even with Martinez in there for one of them) would be lights out.
BULLPEN (Front Office and Management's Fault)
1) Let Uehara walk for nothing
2) Ruined Ross, Scheppers, Ogando, and Feliz by trying to convert them into starters. What was once a dominant force became an unusable disaster area. All 4 of those guys were outstanding relievers before they were tried as starters. Then they were too injured or mentally broken to fix.
AL Notes: Hamilton, - MLB Trade Rumors
The Angels signing of Josh Hamilton has set the franchise back in ways other than financial, opines Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times. During the 2012 offseason, the Angels decided to invest their payroll in Hamilton rather than make a serious bid to retain Zack Greinke. The five-year, $125MM contract forced GM Jerry DiPoto to cut corners when building his pitching staff for the 2013 sesaon and eventually he had to deal bats like Mark Trumbo and Howie Kendrick to acquire young arms (Hector Santiago, Tyler Skaggs and Andrew Heaney) over the next two offseasons. Shaikin posits the Angels’ lineup is a Mike Trout injury away from being devasted.

I think the way the Rays did Price would have been great for Feliz. They brought Price up at the end of the year to work out of the pen to get his feet wet. They didn't have him come up early in the season because they were starved for a good bullpen arm.I know this is something bantered around here a lot, and some feel real strongly about how we messed up some arms by going from BP to starter, and vice-versa.
But let me ask, do we really do it any more than any other franchise? I've always thought it was somewhat of a natural move, although we've got some evidence to the contrary.

Jon Daniels: Texas Rangers will not wait much longer to mix it up | | Dallas Morning News
“We are talking through different ways to improve right now,” Daniels said Sunday evening after the Rangers lost to Oakland 7-1 to fall to 8-16 for the year. “We may make some smaller changes this week, but we’re not going to wait too much longer before we consider mixing it up further. We need to see our focus and execution improve.”
The article goes on to suggest three possible shakeups including demoting Odor, benching Elvis temporarily, and changing hitting coaches.
Who do you DFA or who on the 15day DL do you send to the 60day DL to make room for field? Moreland of Fukikawa?
