I would put several guys ahead of Howard. Guys like Hargrove, Bell, Harrah, Burroughs, Fergie, Perry, and many, many others.I look at the options and I'm stunned and stumped as to why a player would even be listed as a potential all time player with a franchise when he played 95 games for them.
I know Frank Howard helped usher in professional baseball to Texas and all. But 95 games, 9 HR, with 31 RBI shouldn't get you mentioned, IMO period.
Jim Sunberg, was a terrific player for 10 years, won 4 GG, and still is with the organization. He should have been there instead of Howard.
