CJ Wilson is probably an outlier here on the example gamut, but he damn near tripled his IP from 2009 to 2010.
He was a RP in 2009 ... a SP in 2010.

Either that or maybe he should have been allowed to develop as a starter in the minors instead of coming up here as a reliever.
Ogando was an outfielder converted to a pitcher in 2005 , and then was jerked back and forth. Its unfortunate he had the arm issues but I can't say I'm surprised
Beltre has endeared himself to the fanbase as quick as anyone man can. In four years the impact he's made rivals the stretches of any of the others on that list. Shame he only got to Texas that late in his career. I cannot imagine his numbers if he had been there after he left LA.
His 2010 for BOS may still be his best to date.
It's easily his 2004 in Dodgerland, it was his best offensive season by far, and by a metric standpoint, also his best defensive season
9.7 WAR, 48 HRs, 121 RBIs, .334 AVG all career highs
You are right from a career perspective. I think the perspective in the post was that his best years since departing LAD have been with TEX. As a body of work post LAD his years with TEX have been HOF caliber but without that quality year w/BOS (his first as an AS which for me is unbelievable) he might never have been the hot acquisition that TEX went after.
What makes me nuts is that he was granted free agency after that 2004 season and signed the cheap deal that he did with SEA ... and then left SEA in 2009 signing with BOS for one year and $9mil. Does he grow to be the player that he is if he doesn't play for SEA and BOS? Dunno ... he was pretty good for LAD ... but for some reason the market didn't recognize what we all know about him now.
At least it's no DP
Scott Kazmir at 94 MPH? somebody testing this guy? He was throwing 87 like 2 years ago
