Eric Nadel said just now what I have thought for awhile. When a team switches a guy from the rotation to the bullpen there is usually a good reason for it. It might have been a little much to hope for to hope Detwiler would make a good starting pitcher.

I really think Detwiler is a placeholder in the rotation until one of our minor league pitchers shows he is ready. Then Detwiler goes to the pen. Maybe as soon as May.
