We have to worry about ARI too. They seem to be on a mission. I hope all 3 teams win tomorrow.
Don't COL and ARI play each other this weekend while we play the Angels? Should be fine.

Angels have now clinched, so they will be starting their bench and spot starters against us....we are in danger of sweeping the Angels!!! The #1 pick is starting to look dicey...Don't COL and ARI play each other this weekend while we play the Angels? Should be fine.
I agree with this. Rios is not worth $14 million. Move Choo to right, and use the youngsters in left unless a better option comes up (Daniel Nava anybody?? He's out of favor in Boston, could be a cheap pick-up).This from T.R. Sullivan.
"The Rangers have a $14 million option on Rios for 2015, but it appears increasingly likely they will not pick it up and instead pay the $1 million buyout."
"One reason is that Choo, after his injury-ravaged season, is expected to shift from left to right field next season under the theory that it is less taxing physically. It is also his most comfortable position. The Rangers would then either go with one of their internal options for left -- rookies Michael Choice, Ryan Rua, Jake Smolinski or Daniel Robertson -- or look for a cheaper alternative on the free-agent market."
I say it all the time. It seems when a team leaves the bases loaded the other team feeds off of it and scores in the next half inning.
How about Roog? I don't know what we're going to do with Odor, Profar, and EA. I don't know how you send him back to the minors.
Seeing the faces of the A's fans was priceless. To bad the M's lost. We just helped the Angels clinch too, but that was inevitable.
Assuming neither of the 3 gets moved... I could honestly see Profar start out the season in AAA. (seeing as how he's missed a whole season and all).
Ron Washington will make a statement today at 1:30 about his resignation.
Think he will and should. Odor is simply ahead of Profar at this time.Assuming neither of the 3 gets moved... I could honestly see Profar start out the season in AAA. (seeing as how he's missed a whole season and all).

Im sure he will be vague if it's a legal issue, but it should get JD off the hook with the fans that believe he ran him out of town.
I think it would be Odor starting out in AAA. They moved Kinsler to make room for Profar and I think they will stick with that plan. We shall see.
I think this is presumptive. Plans are flexible. That's why they're called plans and not facts.
All of us are impressed with what we've seen out of Odor. But you're right in that, the Rangers going into this season, certainly held Profar in higher regard, and still may for all we know.
It could come down to who has the best showing in winter ball and ST between the two. They're both very young and this is great for all parties really. We do have options left with both of em.
And frankly, I suspect we've got to be married to EA, for the short term anyway, so moving Profar to SS isn't much of an option. His trade value is so low, and we've got so much invested in him, we may not much of a choice but to stick with him, at least going into the 2015 season.
Does anyone know if Wash will announce on local or sports news?
FSST DIRECT TV 676I know it will be on 103.3FM.
