How many nfl QBs would have won the super bowl with the Seahawks last year?

I'm actually a fan of Wilson's, just think he is top 15, not top 5. It will be interesting to see what the Pat's do with Mallett. No doubt someone will pay him this year, I'm guessing since they drafted a solid QB prospect they may let him walk

Yep thinking same thing, for them to draft a QB in second round means Mallet is gone

well....you do seem to chime in as some kinda judge as to what is what. Me? I could care less what your opinion is. Doesn't seem to hold any more value than the next one.

Now as to my post to split about this last year....it had everything to do with his 3 month time to time visit to the Dallas board to remind everyone of Seattle's greatness.

LOL....some people just like to shoot their mouths on a regular basis. Maybe it's a seattle fan thing afterall. You guys seem to take that 12 man thing to a message board. You be the judge wizard, I just throw an opinion here and there.

Hello and good to see you.
I had no idea my posts carried so much weight. I felt compelled to revisit your board to see how awful and mean spirited I was.
All posts were in the smack thread so a little leeway and a thicker skin has value there.
My 1st post dated New Years Day, 1-1-14..............."Go Seahawks." We had not yet won the SB.
You were the 1st to respond. Check out your second response to me just a few posts later.
I have no issues with the smack talk as it was posted in the smack thread. Some of you got so upset, I said I would bail and stay away until just before our upcoming game, which I have honored those words.
I apologize for my words in your smack thread for creating such deep rooted scars.

Makes me think Mallett will be a bust. With that kids size and arm strength, and 5 years of watching one of the 5-6 best ever for years, you'd think he would be a no brainer. If they let him go, it says a lot

Consider Mallet gone!! He was never thought of as a Rhodes Scholar but you have to be somewhat to grasp the Pats offensive scheme. Garrapola seems to have caught on quite well. Mallet..not so much.

no need to apologize and it was in the smack talk thread.
You had fun and there was no purpose other than your team won, so you had leverage and poped in to remind us of seattle's greatness. I was shocked you didn't visit all 31 teams, but for some reason Dallas was special. Smack talk was in the correct place. No deep rooted scars, just a new season.

should be fun

Interesting that Garrapolo was most often compared to Romo coming out, does seem like a better fit. Mallet seems like a good fit for an old school, pound the rock offense that can take big shots off play action to keep his pocket clean. Maybe Minnesota or Tennessee

Wilson is a good QB with a chance to become an outstanding one. As to Brady, if he played for Seattle last season, they go 16-0. Wilson is nowhere near Tom Brady right now

Brady wouldn't have made it out of the Texans game. The Seahawks were missing 3 starters on what was an, at best, average offensive line last year.

Tom Brady is a Hall of Famer but he's also on the wrong side of 35 and was never very mobile. If he doesn't have time to even plant his feet, he isn't going to do well. Wilson, in that game in particular, didn't even have time to drop back to the pocket.

Read the post I commented on Watson:L

I did, You commented on SonnyBlack....who is a pats fan.

Like I said, no Seahawk fan thinks Wilson is anywhere near as good as Brady. I will say Wilsons closer to Brady then he is to Dilfer....

The STL Monday night game, or the Arizona thursday night games were equally as brutal.

As mentioned, I posted there before we won.
Dallas was not special. I posted in that thread why I was there and it was not to brag. In some cases it did turn into bragging when Dallas fans attempted to put me, Hawk fans, or the Seahawks down in a manner they typically do.
Yet, I agree...it should be fun.

My point wasn't an attempt to criticize Brady.

It wasn't even an attempt to say he would have certainly been injured. It was simply to point out that, at this point in career, he would have had a VERY difficult time playing behind that line last year.

Brady could manipulate the defense at the line of scrimmage. Brady is an all time great, and never had an MLynch to turn around and hand it to. There's no instance where any GM would have taken Russell Wilson over Tom Brady last year. Come on Dude

Tom Brady is an exceptionally good QB. His pre-snap reads are outstanding. But if the Giants proved one thing it is that he does not do well when he is facing heavy pressure from the front 4 and no blitz. Truth be told, very few QBs do well in those situations. Wilson didn't do well against the Texans either as a passer. He only succeeded because of his legs.

In those 4 or 5 games in which the Seahawks OL was downright atrocious, Tom Brady would have struggled. Maybe he still would have won but your claim was that he would have gone 16-0 and that simply isn't realistic.

I'm giving last years Seahawks credit for having one of the 8-10 best defenses I've seen. They also had Lynch. Tom Brady has gone 16-0 with less.....

Wilson was better than Brady last year. Was he better than Brady in 07? No, but he was better last year. Has Wilson had a better career, no but he was better last year.

We aren't talking about 2007 Tom Brady. And I don't think anyone would confuse Golden Tate for Randy Moss.

Those Pats teams always had very good defenses. No individuals season were they as dynamic as Seattle's defense was last year but over 6-7 years they were one of the best in the league.

Bruschi, Vrabel, Seymour, Law, Harrison, McGinest, Wilfork(he's a bit younger than the others though), and one of the best defensive coaches ever pulling the strings.. People act like Brady single handedly carried bad teams to SBs but in fact it was a great example of team wins. And since they had all those defensive vets in their primes, he has yet to close the deal.
