How many nfl QBs would have won the super bowl with the Seahawks last year?

Yeah I heard Kevin Weeks and Whitey got into a bit of a shouting match in court. I read a book by John Shea, one of Whitey's close guys, and Shea has said he'd kill Whitey if given the chance.

So would the families of the 19 bodies they recovered. Esp the brother of Flemmi's gf who whitey strangled and Stevie took out all her teeth, crums afraid she might talk. Dont kill woman or children

Whitey was a ruthless piece of shit. He didn't follow the very code that he preached.

I'm sure Gulgielmetti would like to take a run at Whitey as well.

You laughed at Eli, but he has taken worse teams, teams that barely made the playoffs, and led the team to win the Super Bowl. One being against an undefeated Patriots team.

I don't consider Tom Brady dead. He is still making playoffs with a team that is basically dead.

I think Matt Ryan could.

You say Kaep makes too many bad decisions, which I would agree he's not as good as RW, he was only inches away from going to their 2nd straight Super Bowl with one of the worst NFL passing offenses.

I tend to agree with you on the other QBs.

Yeah Eli has already proven he can get it done... He was in a very similar situation in New York with a great defensive team ... He made some great clutch play's on the biggest stage...

Who Matty why? he is supposed to be out late this year and lives next town over, he's a nice fella. He got setup by feds to protect a pkg and got 12 years fed, shame 85% to serves, thats why state is better usually get out doing just a 3rd

I'm pretty sure Matty was mentioned in a lot of Whitey's meetings with John Connolly. Those very meetings which played a big part in taking down Patriarca

Makes sense, Matty was a young capo and they prob sent him down to grab payments from Whitey and Whitey playing both sides of fence, hated the Italians and gave them up

There are a lot of names that should be addressed, but I'll focus on my team's QB.

Stafford sucks and I would hate to see him play full season without Calvin Johnson.

Scratch that I would love to see it if it meant he was no longer a Lion.

I don't think Seattle wins it without him but they got their on the backs of the defense and the running game with Wilson making some huge timely plays when needed.

The threat of Lynch and the running game made defenses pay attention to that first which opened up a lot of things especially off of play action.

And the reason why he was in position to be clutch in the first place was because the defense kept scores in range to be able to make plays to win games.

That's not to knock Wilson either because he pulled rabbits out of his hat when the team needed him to time and time again and he did what was asked of him to win the game which is what matters.

I doubt the 2000 Ravens feel guilty about having an SB ring because Dilfer was their QB and I doubt Dilfer losses sleep over it.

Wilson will have to continue to grow and become even better if the Seahawks want to keep winning titles though. This will be more than likely Lynch's last year with the Hawks and while the team is high on Michael I would be surprised if he can match Lynch's high level of play and in regards to defense it's just not reasonable expect the defense to continue to play at that high of a level.

Agree .... 49rs had a serious swagger about them coming into the NFC title game... There are allot of qb's in the league the 49rs would a tee'd off on in that game... Being up 10 nothing early was probably the scariest moment of our season and allot of qb's could a cracked under that pressure... First play of the game Niners were causing problems with the fumble... Wilson didn't crack he just kept at it... I can name allot of qb's that would a choked that away for us in that game... Those are the moments good qb's keep there poise and give your team it's best chance... As far as Lynch yeah he's a big part of what we've done... It's always good for and offense having a threat at the RB position...

Since the 2005 season, no defending Super Bowl Champion has won a playoff GAME the following season. If the Seattle team was really that strong last year, they should break that streak

Seems like even the Doobster could've quarterbacked the Seahawks to the Super Bowl last season…

I don't think Peyton could have done it. Not mobile enough and most of the pocket passers naw.... I'm talking about the whole season of games to get there not just the SB.

Funny thing about wilson is his numbers are really good. Td total, td:int, comp percentage, qbr, qb rating etc. good vs the entire league, Great vs second yr qbs historically. The only stat that isnt great is yardage.

So hese threads get started by the uneducated fantasy football fan who sees wilson getting drafted in the 8-10 rd........and the only seattle game they saw all last yr was the nfccg and the super bowl

Last year the top 5 teams in total defense were Seattle, Carolina, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and San Francisco.
My question is how many of those teams would have won the SB if Russell Wilson was their QB?

Apparently, you failed to read and comprehend the Title of this thread.

All I care about is that RW is Perfect for this Team.
The Super Bowl Champs, The Seattle Seahawks.

I don't care if Trent Dilfer or Peyton Manning had the chance, would they have won the SB?

:suds: Don't care.

Nope....made my comment earlier about this what if bull shit. I never assume the decisions are all made the same. The decisions on where to distribute the ball matter greatly at this level. Just does...nothing can be assumed.

and yes...I follow football enough to know who won last years super bowl.
That last year stuff is just that
