I just can't see Melo wanting to go to Cleveland. His wife was not a big fan of the city of Denver, I can only imagine how she would feel about Cleveland of all places.

Yeah, no way Melo goes to Cleveland. That would be a competitive lineup, but it's a pipe dream.

Here's where the LeBron lovers get confused.

It was never about James leaving Cleveland, it was the manner in which he choose to tell everyone, right down to his at the time employer.

I don't think he makes 'that' mistake again but if he moves on, the folks who hate on him will probably still hate on him unless he joins their team and the folks that love him will probably still love him unless they are Heat fans.

yet it's pretty clear that some Lakers haters want to keep pushing the "jealousy" angle. which i find hilarious...

even if that was the case(and it isn't), then how do you explain fans that hate the Heat and LeClown as well that are fans of OTHER teams...?

see how the "jealousy" angle's FLAWED there...?

Houston

That has historically been an extremely popular destination for NBA vets.

I think that intrigues him more than any other possibility.

And the Rockets are fairly close to being able to do it......or can outright with a little coaxing.

No way he leaves. I don't if even think their should be talk about it. It wouldn't make sense. Maybe next year but not this year. Where would he go. Lakers maybe, Cleveland, Bulls, Dallas, Boston outside chance. I don't see him going to the West. He knows the easy path is the East. I think more options for him next year.

I bet he stays.

:agree: I don't think there's a team that he can go to that is going to put him in a better position to win more titles than Miami, especially with the East the way it is. I think an offer from the Lakers might intrigue him because they have so few players under contract and can literally take the roster in any direction they want. But there's no guarantee that even with Lebron, they would be able to get out of the West for a couple more seasons.

Most other teams would still be a season or 2 away or don't have the cap space meaning they'd likely have to give up much of what made them attractive in the first place to get him.

I saw a funny point in an article somewhere (forgot where exactly)

But Cleveland owns Miami's 2015 draft pick. How ironic would it be if he went back to cleveland now and they ended up with another potential lottery pick that they get from miami because of the lebron trade?

I believe the picks are lottery protected in this case.

Has anyone heard the big news today

LeBron James wanted to be traded to the Spurs.............but the Spurs declined the trade cause the heat wanted a bag of chips to go along with that plain ham sandwich the Spurs offered.

Yeah i know that was a bad joke, but so was the Heats play...........

Still lmao............

poor poor LeBron ..........Will never be on the same planet as Jordan.

Shit. If LeBron ended up with Pop as a coach, you could cancel the season.

It's the one week anniversary of the Spurs annihilating the heat.. It was special and I will never forget that the best team in the NBA kicked Lebron and his dream teams asses.

Nah...
The Spurs players won that series...
Nothing really Spoelstra can do when most of the roster has a crappy series and Wade is the worst player on the court.
Nothing Pops could have really done anything different ( that would have worked) had he have been coaching the Heat in that series.

Dream team?

The new CBA was all about preventing dream teams.
Our overall roster just got to old.

The next couple weeks should be really interesting in Heat land.

Lebron on the Spurs would be unfair to the rest of the NBA.
