If Sherman didn't play for my team I'd hate him for being such a punk always talking trash.

He backs it up but I still think it's not a classy thing to do. He acts like a thug. Having seen him on TheRealRobReport I know he's actually a really chill dude but he makes himself look bad IMO.

He is molding he discussed after the Niner game with a reporter that many saw how his father gets up every day to go to work a 5 AM and he is a trash truck driver and how that instilled his work ethic.

Well for one his bashing of Bayless, his taunt's to Brady,he is making a name for himself because whether many wish to believe or not people were over looking the Seattle Legion Of Boom and Sherman was like "Hey look over here you fools"

I like him as a player and I do think he's probably the best or at least in the discussion. I hate his antics on the field and its not about him being on the Seahawks. I don't like that from any player on any team including my own.

That being said, I would take him on my team for sure.

But sadly what do you think gets more airtime?

Richard Sherman saying Harbaugh dissed him after the game, or his dad's work ethic?

The ESPN headline will be Sherman dissing Harbaugh, not the work ethic his father passed on to him.

Patrick Peterson!

Peterson brings up an interesting discussion mostly because of his ability to impact the return game along with creating turnovers but I don't think his coverage is at the level of Sherman's.

Patrick Peterson is pretty overlooked because of the team he plays on though.

After one game last year cannot recall which one he said "You entertained!" he knows you gotta not only play to get noticed but if you put on a show people will talk.

Great player, but shouldn't bother with shit like this after a game:

“There are a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought, ‘Oh, the Seahawks are gonna lose this game.’ Well, please, please don’t doubt us again,” Sherman told NBC’s Michele Tafoya after the 29-3 win. “Every time you doubt us, you look stupid.”

Anyway we could get him to sign up on the Hoop? I think he would fit right in around here.

Apparently showing a little tact and acting like you're doing your job escapes you. It's not about him, it's classless no matter who does it.

I guess every time I complete a work assignment I should talk shit and celebrate.

"That's what you have to do in this game, at least the way I play it," said Sherman, a fifth-round pick in 2011. "I'm out there competing, trying to get them to throw my way. I'm trying to get them to attack me, because I feel like I'll stand up every time they attack me. That's what I'm doing, trying to get the quarterbacks and the receivers frustrated."

On the rare occasions passes did come his way, Sherman would turn to the Redskins coaches, and "I'd twirl my finger around my ear like 'Man, you're crazy.' They were just kind of blankly staring at me."

So rattled were the Redskins, that tackle Trent Williams punched the miked-up Sherman in the face after the game, later telling reporters he felt bad about losing his cool.

"Just high emotions, man, and you know, I let them get the best of me," Williams said. "It's nobody's fault but mine."

For Sherman, it was mission accomplished. His on-field shtick is all about getting into opponents' heads and taking them out of their game.

I don't think he is a bad person because he does the shit he does. He's emotional and is being what is natural to him. I just think it takes away from his status a little. If he were less "look at me, look at me" he would have a better chance at getting the respect he deserves and sooner.

People respect his game but a lot of people don't respect him. Maybe he doesn't care.

Sherman doesn't say anything untrue. He just talks, not his fault that the microphone is large because most of you cant wait to hear what he says next so you can talk about how much you dislike him.

I found it funny that his dad, who is a garbage truck driver, still works as a garbage man to this day. Unless I heard that wrong from what they said last night.

I mean damn son. Give your dad some money to retire!

:wtf:

So you are fine with him saying shit like this after a game?

“There are a lot of pundits and ignorant idiots who thought, ‘Oh, the Seahawks are gonna lose this game.’ Well, please, please don’t doubt us again,” Sherman told NBC’s Michele Tafoya after the 29-3 win. “Every time you doubt us, you look stupid.”

What does that have to do with anything? So some "pundits" picked the 49ers to win, so what?...What's wrong with that, and how does that affect how he and the Seahawks play the game?

If the 49ers won, would he have said the pundits are very smart individuals, and then call himself an ignorant idiot?

You want to silence the pundits, you do it by winning, and showing some class.... not by running your mouth like a chump because your feelings are hurt.

He'd rather do both and he does very well.

This makes absolutely no sense. People dislike him because of his mouth. They don't sit around waiting on a reason to hate him even more if he hadn't given them reason to do so in the first place.

He's a great player who needs to let his play talk for him. It does but he feels the need to run his mouth any chance he gets.

Well yeah, of course a Seahawks fan is going to see nothing wrong with it. I'm sure if he was on the 9ers, and said the same shit, you'd be calling him an asshole that needs to shut his mouth.

People can overlook a lot of faults a player has if he's wearing their team's colors.

Doesn't matter who he was directing it at, it had no place in his interview.

Pundits doubt teams and players all the time, that's their job, but you don't see players calling them out after a game. His team won the game, that says plenty on its own.

I bet he's the type that checks twitter feeds constantly to see what people are saying about him?
