It's an article form yahoo, so take it with a grain of salt. They have concluded that Seattle is number one. I personally don't think we are number one, top five sure with the Ms, Sonic s leaving, Seahawks (hopefully changing). I just feel Cleveland is by far the most cursed sports city out there. Anyways here's the article.

Oh its got to be Miami ...all a bunch of bandwagon fairweather fans in all sports. They bail on their teams as soon as the title honeymoon is over. You wont see any heat fans by next fall.

I still can't believe they took the Sonics. But when the Seahawks win the championship this year all will be solved.

Cleveland - losing their team to Baltimore and gaining the Browns ultimate laughingstock of the NFL, LeBron turning his back on your city on live TV after he grew up there...

This. The Browns lose to Denver due to the fumble, they get moved to Baltimore and win a superbowl there. The Cavs lose Lebron and who knows if they will ever recover. The Indians,,,,,well, its the Indians.

They forgot about the San Diego Q's. That was the most pitiful team of all time.

Atlanta at #2 is something I don't agree with but I can understand why they think that. This aint a city for a hockey team. We've got a minor league hockey team playing up Northeast of the city and they are doing fine.

Most of the Atlanta teams have been mismanaged for many years, especially the Hawks. No Hawks' owner has ever cared if we win a title or not, just whether they can fill up Phillips Arena or not. The Braves should have won more WS, no doubt about that, especially when we had the Big Four of Glavine, Smoltz, Avery and Maddox.

At least now the Falcons have one of the best sports franchise owners out there in Arthur Blank. We will bring home a NFL title one day, I feel sure of that. Blank is a super owner.

I think Forbes has the most miserable sports reporters on earth. OK, maybe tied with the Bleacher report.

Cleveland takes the cake. Those fans probably have the worst luck.

I think Miami should make the list.... the following down there is a joke. I got free tickets to the world series with the Marlins, free tickets all the time to the Panthers, I owned season tickets to the Dolphins and couldn't give them away for years... and even the Heat before that first championship were full of fairweather fans.

There are so many people down there from other countries and other areas of the US... it is hard.

The most packed games I attended was when a NY team came to play one of the FL teams (Islanders, Rangers, Jets, Patriots, Giants, etc.) and then there were tons of people wearing the visiting teams gear.

I don't think it's possible for Seattle to be a miserable sports city. 90% of the potential fans don't give a crap unless the team is doing well and just go away before the mental anguish gets too great. Most of the people I know that tend to follow sports didn't care about the Sonics because the NBA is a crappy product. Then when Hansen came around just about everybody I knew didn't even want a team back. He's probably lucky that Sac didn't move because nobody gives a shit and the team would have turned into a money pit. But I do think this town is a perfect fit for a NHL team which is an awesome live sport. Hopefully they do expand and get us a franchise here.

Yeah kinda a reason the Sonics left in the first place. I'd say your in the top 5, but you top Cleveland. Unless those fans root for OSU or they have nothing.

The falcons are good enough to pull you out of the bottom 5, at the very least. I would think Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Detroit (they kind of have hockey but it's hockey) have to be up there.

I don't like you any more.
