I haven't checked in a while but I thought the difference between his home and road numbers were pretty significant.

Being left handed he'd hit just as well at rbia.

I swear when I'm in Arlington everytime we win. I was driving home from Abilene and literally saw the fireworks go off as geo hit the walk off. It was insane. We're gonna win the series now because I'm goin to the game Wednesday. If we win tomorrow we're gonna sweep them. Put money on it

I kinda admired it myself lol

Well if course, but he watched it for a nice long while and then did a pretty awesome bat flip. The guy has been pissing me off but he sure has a knack for being clutch.

It's one of the reasons I can't really be that pissed at him and about his approach. He's had some big hits and clutch moments all season long.

MLB TV reporting that A-Rod may be suspended under a collective bargaining measure instead of the drug policy. If that is so, then guys like Melky and Colon could be be suspended again too. My swag at the legal end of this, don't get your hopes up high.

Carried the bat a ways down the first baseline then flipped it to really show out. Remember the hit in Anaheim where he was really giving it to the fans there, he really loves pissing on the angels

I will be a man and accept my wrong doing. While Jbear's original post was uncalled for and did not make sense to me, I shouldn't have responded in such a nasty way.

Therefore I apologize. I don't know why I am doing this on a measly interweb sports chat forum to someone and people I don't even know or will ever know but I guess it's a conscience thing and a human thing.

Way to put your heart into it. You don't know why you are apologizing?

So using profanity is something are are okay with with those you don't know? Do you use profanity when you talk to others you do know?

We have a pretty open board here ... much more liberal than back at ESPN ... but profanity doesn't make you a smarter poster so suggest you think about what you type.

Because of the size of the TEX fan community here ... we want to keep this a popular space. So suggest you keep it positive or ignore as was suggested. Don't be surprised though if you lose your logon for a bit.

Of course it is, but so much of the game is mental it can certainly affect their play.

Very true. I see it with the youngsters I coach. They hear a team is "really good they all hit the ball." I tell them, great that means the inning will be short as they hit the ball to you and you get them out. That is what happened and when we came up to bat after a 1-2-3 inning, the kids were relaxed and smoked the ball and ran the bases great. So it works and a coach needs to know how to channel it CORRECTLY and not over play your hand.

Um if you read my comment I never said it was ok nor it made me smarter. And no I know why I am apologizing but doing on the worldwide web is not something that is normal or common is what I was saying. But I will maintain the initial post from Jbear was overlooked.

Wonder if the angels will throw at him.

Tough to say. I could see it happening at least and that would only add more spice to the rivalry and hopefully get our boys even more fired up and pumping.

He seems to hit off of good pitching. He was the one with the big 3 run homer when we beat Verlander in May. He has his moments, but every day play...We are getting ahead of ourselves.

Wondering if JD is still considering a move for Peavy. If we get another pitcher who can give us quality starts, it really ups our chances.

How about Cliff lee? Heard he will be traded. That's the last impact move out there

Both Peavy and Lee will be overly expensive from giving up prospects. And at this point I think they have a good enough rotation to be a championship level one.
