Giancarlo Stanton drew 28 unintentional walks in his rookie season of 2010. He's drawn 25 unintentional walks in July.

WOW Cmon Marlins sell sell sell!

It'll take giving the farm and even then I'm not sure they'll trade him yet.

Hmm what would the jays want for adam lind?

Lind could be a great candidate for dh/1b. The guy has always been a ranger killer and has always raked in Arlington.

Edwin Encanarcion just hit a 2 run homer. I would love if we could just get him last second

Yeah, I think you said earlier that you would want him or Baustia or someone with impact or nothing. I tend to agree. There really isn't anyone on the market that excites me that much and our core really has to start to heat up even with an impact bat because 1 guy isn't going to turn this thing completely around. I'd prefer to save the prospects for a possible trade that might open up in the off season than get a mid level guy like Rios. I mean how many people did you hear at the first of the year saying we should make a move on Rios?

Valid point. If you'd posed that in the winter you would've been laughed off the board. The talent is there so unless we get a guy who can really make an impact I'm not sure it's worth doing. At least a guy like cuddyer.

I've always been a Murphy fan but I think it might be time to put E. Beltre out there for a week or so and see what he can do. He has been pretty good in the few starts he has gotten and is an upgrade defensively.

I hope that happens but unfortunately I don't think Murphy will get any less playing time. Wash will insert Murphy into that lineup which will be a mistake. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging that he is at best a 4th OF even with the group of OF'ers the team has.

Baker needs to start at 1b against CJ tomorrow night. Gentry might even get a start to to load up RH bats. Would go with E. Beltre in LF too over Murphy with AJ DHing as the only LH bats.

Need very patient ABs against CJ early. Wouldn't be the first time TEX took Weaver and CJ on consecutive nights.

It's been time, but wash won't do it, and that is one more reason he needs to go.

Baker better be in the lineup.

If they're patient they'll get to CJ eventually and have him at 100 pitches by the 5th inning. And with Holland pitching I like this team's chances.

Thanks. Cuddyer is interesting, and he might rake here. I guess it would depend on what it would take, I would just hate to see someone like Stanton or Cargo become available over the off season and the Rangers no longer have the pieces to do it.

They'll have the pieces to do it if they're open to tapping into their lower minor leagues and the international players they've signed for a few years. That's the area that is the strongest for the organization right now is the lower level minor leagues who are super super young.

Agree with that line up. In the past if they can draw a walk or two and get CJ rattled.....game over. We can beat their bull pen

As long as they retain Profar they'll be able to get it done. I wouldn't hit the system for cuddyer by any means.

Agree. No way to know where E. Beltre will be come 2014 ... but Murphy will not be back so even if Beltre is as futile as Murphy offensively he's a considerable upgrade defensively ... plus TEX will know more about what they might want to do with Beltre in the process.

Obviously there is that chance but I don't see how he will be as bad as Murphy if he's given a shot to start next season. Because he is out of options it's interesting to see what the FO will view him as in terms of a piece going forward. I like his upside and now that he's finally healthy and in the bigs I am curious.

Unfortunately wash doesn't see it that way. He loves Murphy's veteraness.
