Me being a Cleveland fan and an LBJ fan, my dream is for LBJ to win 2 more rings the next two years to make it 3. Then go back to Cleveland w/ Kyrie and Waiters and win 3 more...that would be a sick Big 3 in 2 years.

I thought CLE fans forever hated LBJ?

I am more than a Cleveland fan, I grew up watching him play HS ball. So it goes to a different level for me. I would of done the same thing if I wasn't winning or getting better pieces around me, except 'The Decision' of course

Any rings??...you can win 80 ganes every year and get to the finals but if you don't have a championship, does it really matter?? Nobody talks about the team that almost won it.

Utah Jazz still get talked about.

But Cavs were 1 piece of the puzzle away.

They had some good shooters around him, but there post presence wasn't too good. But they were one All-Star caliber or better player from making Finals more and winning a Ship.

I think if they build around Kyrie and if they were to some how add LBJ back, they would have a legit shot at multiple championships. I doubt it will happen but it's whatever.

And Utah never won for one reason: MJ

You forgot about Kobe, he says he doesn't want to play when he is 35 but I doubt favre did either.

I would not be against him being Laker. I have always kind of disliked the Lakers (the yankee thing). As I get older though I have a a lot more respect for the dedication to excellence that the Lakers represent. Still and always will hate the yanks.

I am not sure he will be compatible with Dwight though. They have not publicly taken shots at each other in a few years probably mostly due to Dwight being out of action. The bigger issue is Dwight wants to be the #1 guy. If he could co exist with Lebron though they would both have some numbers...maybe some rings.

I'll be a little surprised if Kobe re-signs after next year, especially coming off of a torn Achilles. He has said in the past that he isn't going to be one of those guys hanging around averaging 18-20 points per game. This is what he is likely to be after the Achilles injury.

He has also said that he wants to finish up playing overseas (Italy, I believe). Even if he did decide to stick around another season or 2, it would have to be at a dramatic discount in salary. I would be shocked if the Lakers re-signed him for more than a 1-2 year deal at about $10 million or so!!

It always seemed that they wanted to try and get that 1 more player on the cheap. It was like Gilbert had the amount he would spend and wouldn't go over, even if it meant a championship. I never followed it all that close, but that was the impression that I got based on who they were bringing in.

Cleveland has had some great time in the draft. Who are they picking for the first pick this year? They definitely should have the pieces in a year or two to at least be competitive and stay away from the lottery.

Here's my question. I think we can all agree that the team will have to be reformed in one way or the other with the new cba. My question is, does Lebron stay for that reformed situation over the Lakers and possibly Dwight Howard? I would throw the Cavs into this as well as they're the only other team that will have that much cap space....but they hired Mike Brown and removed all doubt.

Yep, 1 piece they needed and never got it. They thought Shaq was that piece and he was way past prime. Jamison was an addition highly thought as another big piece...nah. They should of been qble to get someone else for LBJ and blew it!

Looks like Porter would be the choice. I don't like Noel. And I would say hit the free agency and get a post player in Bynum or Jefferson.

Wade!? Heat fans think wade is the problem?? Wade brought Miami titles before this big 3 thing happened. LBJ is the problem, he may be a damn good player, but he is the issue. Bosh is also a problem.

What kind of nonsense is this? HOW is Lebron "the issue"??? HE pretty much won them the title last year.......I really don't get the logic of some of you out here.....too many people here let their dislike of a player cloud their thinking.

Wade just isn't the same player at all that he was back when he played w/ Shaq. He is always getting injured, doesn't have the same explosion. If they can't win it this year then it is only going downhill from here.

I know how that feels!! I grew up a huge Rams fan. In the 80's it seemed like they were always missing 1 final piece that could get them a Super Bowl, but they just wouldn't spend the money!!

It was very frustrating as it seemed like there were years when they were arguably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFL, but just wouldn't add that one more piece or 2 that would get them over the top!!

Yeah, I'd be interested to know that too!! I'm no Lebron fan, but I can't see how he is the problem!!

You can possibly put the failure in the 1st season on Lebron because he was the best player, but would defer to D-Wade because it was "D-Wade's team".

Last year, he understood that he was their best player and played like it. The result was a title!!

I will be very shocked if the Heat don't pick it up. I just think the Spurs are playing great bball. I know I am moving forward a bit, but how does Miami match up against SA?? Is it a better matchup then Indiana??

sometimes, in order to become a great leader, you have to be a great follower... You have to tip your hat to Lebron for being a good understudy and taking himself to the next level.

They hate losing even more.

I am going to strongly disagree here. They proved a long time ago they don't mind losing.

wasn't winning? You guys made it to the finals and had the best record in the East his final year.......

This is false.

I really don't think Lebron will play with howard. Lebron wants to win and he wants to be around players willing to sacrifice money and fame to win. Howard has pretty much proved he is about the opposite.

I think he will opt out and then we are going to see the Lebron decision part 2. I doubt he holds the press conference and counts an absurd amount of titles in a pep rally but he will weigh his options and go to where ever is going to have the best shot at getting him rings. The Lakers are always in that conversation. The Pacers will be there, don't rule out the Nets. They have a billionaire owner who is not afraid to spend money. They have a big and will still have a PG.

The Cavs will be discussed a shit ton but I put them at the bottom of the list for 3 reasons. Gilbert, Gilbert's inability to assess and accumulate talent, and the uncertainty of the core they have now.
