I have a feeling it's more like he realized he needs to step up before his contract expires, than Peloton, but I will take Jordan Davis reportedly discovering cardio work.

Jerry needs to send this guy a free "all you can eat" McDonalds gift card and quickly!!!

I probably lost 20 pounds since leaving Texas. Part of it is that I walk much more in NYC. But a big part is that I'm not eating that Texas brisket and fajitas and stuff. The food there was good, it is one of the things I miss most. Overall, I don't miss it, but I miss that.

Looks like Jeremiah Trotter Jr is penciled in as the starter at LB next to Baum. Nakobe Dean won’t be ready for the opener and Jahaad Campbell won’t be available until August.

I usually get bored after about 10 seconds of reading about other teams preseason crap, but that was a pretty good Q&A. Fangio doesn't seem to sugar coat it and give the BS "everyone is great" canned responses that just become meaningless after a while and also actually seemed to throw out some legit thoughts: DeJean possibly at safety, etc. I loved the 'and three other guys' at DE comment and the comment about "ducking" the question about why it took so long for Davis to get into shape too.

The thing that excites me about where the Eagles defense is would be the fact that it seems like there is competition at nearly every position. In 2023, the LB situation was pretty much “you’re playing because you’re what we have”. Now, if a guy is starting or if a guy is getting snaps it should be because they’ve earned those snaps (at least when all the LBs finally get healthy).

Fangio actually answers questions truthfully. It's very different than most coach press conferences.

Meanwhile the Giants are fighting one another in OTAs? May be a good thing, they haven't shown much fight lately.

Kelvin Joseph career is over. He got drunk last night and hit someone on a motorcycle killing them this morning.

Jeez. I didn't hear that. His career was over anyway but that is just horrible to hear

I see all these speculative reports about McClaurin possibly being traded to the likes of the Steelers and Titans now, and it makes no sense to me. There's no way that happens right?

Don’t see it myself. Last contract with Terry was signed late June and I expect this will happen eventually as well.

A lot of trade talk there too. Personally he puts you in a tough spot. He is good but not great, but at the same time you need him. If you give him anywhere over $25M it's (IMO only of course) a massive mistake, but going into the season without him is obviously a problem. I guess with Deebo in the mix, if he gets himself into shape and bounces back, you could weather the storm a lot better than you could have last year

Some good points. Likely sticking point (for agent and Terry) is DK Metcalf's recent contract as a comp tho DK is a couple years younger.

He’s gotta be in the 28-30 a year range. 2nd options like Tee Higgins and Devonta Smith are getting 25-27.

I'm sure they'll be looking for $30M but I also think right or wrong DK is viewed as a guy who could put a team on his back and McClaurin really is not (even though stats are similar). I like him. I think he is good and he says and does all of the right things, but I just don't see how you can put him in that top tier.

Did Tee Higgins get that much? I forgot that. I guess he will get over $25M and close the $30M
