Yeah. Just like what he can do. I would like to see a spread offense and him run up the middle as a play.I heard that when Turpin came in today with Lamb and Pickens things looked crazy good

I think Eberflus does not blitz much and when he does he sends a DB. Maybe he needs to rethink that a little. Liafuo is another excellent BlitzerIm hearing that Overshown has gotten on the offseason peanut butter and is a tank now. I think when he gets back from injury hes about to take another step towards being a Superstar
Overshown has the same kind of stuff that Micah has IMO which is all worldI think Eberflus does not blitz much and when he does he sends a DB. Maybe he needs to rethink that a little. Liafuo is another excellent Blitzer
Overshown was on his way. He reminds me of LT a little. That pick six of his was crazy. He don't let up when he hits a QB. And if you notice he is smart and rarely is fooled. Always in the right place. Great speed and instincts.
I could see Luepke being a weapon.
I like Luepke but it'll be interesting to me to see if Mafah is a threat to his roleI could see Luepke being a weapon.
Me tooI could see Luepke being a weapon.
I might break my rule of not buying any dallas merchandise until jj is gone. He could be my exception.Im hearing that Overshown has gotten on the offseason peanut butter and is a tank now. I think when he gets back from injury hes about to take another step towards being a Superstar
That kid plays football how it's supposed to be played. He has great talent, but what makes him special is he plays every down at 100% effort. You will never see a loaf play out of that kidI might break my rule of not buying any dallas merchandise until jj is gone. He could be my exception.
Now if I open a Christmas present ..... sure I'll take the merch just outta respect for the giver!
That's the thing I worry about with Eberflus' defense and particularly early on if we don't have all three CBs.. In today's NFL I think you need to blitz and especially if you have the guys to do it. if we didn't draft EZ I'd bet we see a little of Overshown lining up on the edge on 3rd and long, but now we have a full tank of edge rushers. I do think we see Micah back over the nose in those situations or just roving like we did year one and like we were told we would see at the beginning of last year, but you still have Sam Williams, EZ, Fowler and Kneeland plus any roster fillers. I'm not sure the Turner from the Saints makes the team if everyone is healthy but his pass rush is better than his poor run stopping so far. Kid is much bigger than our other edges. I don't really remember if Eberflus likes to move his Edges down to DT in 3rd and long. Maybe he is thinking he moves him inside and rotates with Osa and Thomas in the nickel. At 270lbs would be great if someone could teach him how to actually stop the run and seal the edge.I think Eberflus does not blitz much and when he does he sends a DB. I think Eberflus has to get his system installed this year, but he is a very smart guy and by next year will expand the scheme to maximize the talent he has. While he is a Tampa 2 guy now, he began his career running a Rex Ryan attacking scheme, which would really cause some chaos with all the pass rushers we will haveThat's the thing I worry about with Eberflus' defense and particularly early on if we don't have all three CBs.. I think everyone is a threat to everyone's role. No more Waletzkos and Deuce Vaughns and the such making the team just because we are comfortable with them and they know the Offense. I'm excited to see what Mafah has, but, I'd be very surprised if he beats out Luepke. Luepke does a little of everything and is a good STer. How many carries is our #3 or maybe even #4 back going to get? It's going to be about the other things - STs, pass protection, blocking, receiving. Have been reading on another board where half the fans are assuming our 1-2 punch is going to be a 5th rounder and a 7th rounder. Possible of course, but it's amazing how much better these College players get once we draft them...I like Luepke but it'll be interesting to me to see if Mafah is a threat to his role
We know Micah runs a faster 40. A lot faster actually. But, my favorite play of Overshown's was that play when he and Micah were both pursuing and he just flew past Micah. I was like WTF? Where did this dude come from. Another thing was during the Giants game I started getting texts from Giants fans asking who this guy was. They were all very impressed. He really did play at an All Star level last year. Still a little sticky on blocks at times and some bad angles, but that's not unusual and especially for a young kid who comes with speed and with no hesitation. I'll say again what I said when he got hurt the second time. As bad as it was for our team, I just felt awful for him. He really is so exciting to watch. I hope he comes back 100% and gets the national attention he deservesThat kid plays football how it's supposed to be played. No more free rides would be enough for another win or two. And I agree that you should never get your hopes us too much for a day three rookie, but the guy we are talking about Mafah trying to beat out was an UDFA himselfI think everyone is a threat to everyone's role. I would say Micah runs a lot faster, but only plays a little faster. And that's no knock on Micah, who i consider a cornerstoneWe know Micah runs a faster 40. A lot faster actually. Once you have a year in the league, your draft status means nothing. Well other than to Jerry who collects first round and second round disappointments like kids used to collect baseball cardsNo more free rides would be enough for another win or two. Yeah, I think you only had that half right...your draft status means nothing ...unless you were drafted Day 1Once you have a year in the league, your draft status means nothing. If I couldn't be Harvey Martin, I want to be him. He is just an IT player since I saw him at Texas. That kid plays football how it's supposed to be played. He has great talent, but what makes him special is he plays every down at 100% effort. You will never see a loaf play out of that kid
Hell no, don't blame Dak, Lamb, Parsons...there is one MASSIVE mismatch that Philly holds over us that is why they are better than we are right now and it's not Hurts vs Dak or even Saquan vs Blue. They have Howie Roseman calling the shots. We have Cousin Eddie from Christmas VacationAnd this is exactly what trumps every positive anyone can put out there. This jackass just destroys any chance of this team ever winning anything. At this rate, Micah is going to cost us $50M per year by the time he is signed instead of $36M he should be costing us. That is how you kill your cap flexibility and destroy any chance your team has to win football games. Don't blame Dak and don't blame Micah. Blame this jackass..
