Happened to be driving and had the radio on after the game was over. It was stated that the foul that was called a flagrant on Clark would always be a common foul on anyone else. The butthurt bitches in the league are ridiculous, Clark is the sole reason they aren’t flying commercial anymore.

well it was widely reported that veterans kept her off the team. I’m not a fan anyway, it’s horrible basketball. I like to see people treated fairly though.

Exactly. Especially on the didn't earn it.

There's actually a case to be made that being left off of the Olympic team was good for her. With everything that went on prior to the Olympics...she probably needed the break.

She was a far better player after the Olympics than before. Some of that was obviously her starting to figure out the WNBA game, but I think the time off helped a good bit too.

She was treated fairly.

Had she been accepted to the team without attending camp, that would not have been fair.

As I have said before, building an Olympic team isn’t just about assembling the 12 best players. It needs to be a cohesive team.

And inviting a rookie who didn’t attend camp and some of the players may already be jealous of does not lead to a quality locker room.

I will go 1 step further and say it would have been 100% wrong to include Caitlin Clark on that team.

Because it’s the easiest way to continue rivalries and to make sure that you have a comprehensive scheduling rotation.

They will find a way to ban it. The Eagles got too good at short conversions and it’s become a cheat code. When it’s banned it will purely be a case of a rule being changed because a team got too good at something and only the rule book adaptation can stop the play.
