Game Thread: Week 9- Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens

This one will be tough. Ravens coming off a bad loss.

I am concerned about Lamar's running ability with how much man to man we play.. DB's have their backs turned in man to man when Lamar takes off.

We are going to have scheme a little different for Lamar obviously. Might see more zone this game.

Ravens D has been really bad.

It is definitely a winnable game, but one could argue other than the Chiefs this is our toughest remaining game. You are right the Lamar running ability against our man coverage really doesn't set up well. This is not our best matchup defensive wise.

Offensively it comes down to can our weapons catch the ball? Nix is starting to show some of that accuracy he had in college so now just need those big plays to be caught when they are there.

I saw somewhere that the Ravens are averaging a league tops 457 yards per game.

One cool thing about these Broncos - they are too young to know they aren't supposed to win the next two games.

Establishing the TE threat will help the offense for the rest of the season.

With these next two games I think could be fun for this team.. Or really not fun too.

We aren't suppose to win, go out and have fun and see if you can piss off the other one by upsetting.

Of course, I would rather beat the Chiefs if I could pick one.

Always hate playing the Ravens. Real test for VJ with a very motivated Lamar. Just have bad feeling about it.

My heart if I could pick who we beat in the next two games would say the Chiefs. Playoff seeding wise I would say the Ravens. Nice to have that tie breaker over them if say Steelers keep winning and win that division. Get ourselves a 2-game lead over the Ravens because of the tie breaker.

Ravens picked up Diontae Johnson who was injured and inactive against the Broncos last week while with Carolina. Not sure if he will play this week or not. Makes the Ravens more dangerous, but it wasn't their offense that really needed a boost IMO.

Should be a good litmus test. Anybody can kick the crap out of crummy NFC South teams. Now is the time we test ourselves against the big dogs.

Pass defense sucks, but the run defense is tops in the league and a big part of that is having a big guy in the middle to open up everyone else.
