Goodell with the god like ban hammer on the Saints. Don't know how people are comparing this to the punishment Belicheck got. Filming a team and purposely injuring players are 2 completely separate things. Saints deserve what they got. Other teams learn from their mistakes. Don't let your bounty system get out in the open.

It's a harsh punishment laid down on the Saints, but we knew they were going to be made an example of. I thought the fine was a little light. Any word on if the hammer dropped on players as well?

Cam Newton? That is fairly recent! They must have known the NFL was investigating at that point.
