Hot button rumor of the weekend is that the Steelers are not actively participating in trade talks with Chicago for Justin Fields...

And you just know the fans on social media are handling it well... lol
Yeah either Wilson or Tannehill will be in Pittsburgh soon enough.

Things like this, Tomlin falls in love with.

So why do I see him being their pick at 20.

Let me note, not that I think this is a good thing but the most likely scenario.

I'm in favor of Wilson. He'd be cheap.

But supposedly the Steelers aren't pursuing him for some odd reason. Either they are keeping that on the down low or they really are content with having Kenny & trying to convince Mason to come back.

I sure hope he lasts until 20

OC is one of the two most impactful selections, along with CB that they could make in this draft.

JPJ is firmly on the board here.

He's vet min, so he'd cost $0 against the salary cap. Even if he never played a snap and was just a 3rd QB, it would still be a win.

Trust me I am not saying it is bad selection but it almost feels like it to me that this is their pick.

They lock on to a mancrush like a gator in a death spin. It becomes blatantly obvious with Tomlin who they are gonna pick. He can't contain himself.

Only someone swooping in ahead of them deters it.

Wilson isn't coming here. He's not going anywhere where he isn't handed the starting job. The Steelers also don't want to give Pickett real competition.

If I had to bet, we will get a 3-way competition between Pickett/Rudolph/Tannehill with Rudolph and Tannehill having to drastically outperform Pickett to win the job.

We have one less Keanu. Weird that we had two.

Neal was cut.

If the rumor is true I would rather waste a second round pick trading for Sneed than I would Fields.
