I was surprised the Bills released him a thought that might be a good fit.

Also, staying with the Bills, I wonder if they will talk to Poyer? Granted older but could fill a void until a drafted SS is ready.

Signing Morse would be really smart to help protect RW.

Sadly this isn't anything new he has been saying this for a few months now.

Anyway that ship has sailed, he thrived when he had a functional o-line with his style. If he came back now he would be just a washed Najee Harris.

I love the move to get Russ for pennies... I highly doubt Kenny keeps/wins the job, but it will elevate his game.

I'm happy to see this team isn't going to be complacent with the slow process. They are making splashes to put this team into "win now" mode. There is too much at stake with betting on Kenny at this point. Kenny's old for a 3rd year QB. This isn't a nail in his starter coffin if he loses the job to Russ. This should be a good thing for him in the long run. The talent they have on this team can make a run, but this isn't the cure-all. They need to fix the OL, and shore up the D.

^ I agree, as we know they aren’t trading up for a QB, giving up a high pick for Fields isn’t a good idea and no way can they afford to pay Mayfield or Cousins over 3O million a season.

What stinks is they lost out on Morse. I hope they have a solid plan b as I don’t want another Kendrick Green scenario.

Willie Gay, LB from KC probably out of the picture now. But he would fit the sideline to sideline role next to Queen.

Justin Simmons could be that SS to pair with Minkah.

Kendall Fuller for CB....

Trent Brown or Mekhi Becton for RT?

Patrick Queen is a great get. He never quite lived up to the 3-down draft bill, but he's a great off-ball LB. And that's what the Steelers need the most.

Hopefully they find a Center (Aaron Brewer or Connor WIlliams) to help bridge the interior, even if they draft 1 high (JPJ or Frazier). All signs point to drafting 1 high.

A DB would be nice. SS or CB.

If they don't get an experienced OC in FA, they will be all in on JPJ in R1, and if that somehow doesn't work out, they will overdraft Fraser or Van Pran just to make sure.

And Aaron Brewer is gone. Miami signed him.

Steelers should kick the tires of Connor Williams. He may have to start the year on PUP, but he's the last of the true viable Centers on the market.
