I was hoping they would expand Washington's role... So where does this leave Con Heyward if they draft/sign another TE?

They don't seem to see Washington as anything but a Bruener type. He's just the 3rd tackle. Heyward, well he has a significant place. Just like Cordarelle Patterson, that TE/Hback role is a defined part of Smith's O.

RTs are easier to find than LTs. Focusing on that means they can either fill in FA or wait a little longer to draft one.
