I also think the Suns actually make some sense this year and going forward too. Chris Paul and Jae Crowder match up perfectly salary wise. Suns move off a disgruntled player and an old guy that's starting to look washed. It's a good fit stylistically too. Every other team though be it Lakers, Clips, Mavs, its not a perfect fit and Brooklyn would be better for him like you said

I disagree. Those assets they gave up aren’t much of anything. They get a chance to see if Kyrie Luka works and if not they can grab pieces this summer because Kyrie will need a sign and trade to get market value for a team he would actually want to play for.

Yep, and if it works, they possibly have a chance to keep Luka for his entire career or at least 1 more contract cycle.

If it doesn't, Kyrie walks, they start working on other options and as you point out, they have shown him they're trying.
