News from 2 days ago today?
It's one meaningless summer league game and Paolo Banchero hasn't even played yet, but Orlando passing over Chet giving me whiffs of the Dolphins passing over Justin Herbert for Tua
The bench would be pretty thin. It's not so much stupid as too short sighted. It makes you the favorite to win the next 2 championships but favorites don't always cash. Meanwhile you have basically said screw the future.
I will enjoy rooting for the TOP 5 ALLTIMERS part II if it happens but I hope it doesn't. I like the idea of competing and also working on a bridge to the future, trying to be the Spurs.
But the big 3 are getting older and maybe they don't want to worry about the future they want 6 rings.
Either way the Warriors are in a pretty great spot.
Summer league....not even preseason where he will go against some pros.
Tell me how many of these guys make the NBA.

Another content-free post from you about the Warriors, a team you literally have never been right about.itll be interesting to see what Golden State does going forward anyway.
Wiggins is a UFA after this upcoming year.
Poole is due a huge raise
they just resigned Looney- which was insanely costly even with his modest deal
Wiseman is due a substantial raise- they have to pick up a 14 million dollar option on him by the end of October or he becomes a UFA after the year.
Wiseman's 14 million will likely cost about 60 million in actual incremental dollars (if he assume he is the last man on the cap).
Poole or Wiggins will be gone by no matter what after this year.
I bet if Wiseman had not been such a bust thus far and they felt they could rely on him, they would have been willing to let Looney go. I don't necessarily think it is an either/or situation- but its going to go from crazy expensive- to holy shit this is over double what anyone else has ever spent in history.
The bench would be pretty thin.
They lost how many bench pieces in FA?
I remember that EXACT thing in 2016: oh you lose Bogut and x, bench too thin. Didn't matter one bit.The bench would be pretty thin.
They lost how many bench pieces in FA?
Yeah.Because Jalen Duren man handled him. It wasn't struggling. He got punched in the mouth
We will see how he does. His skillset is tempting.Yeah.
Pure domination. Kind of like when he goes against real NBA C's.
Well, 6 years ago.....Steph, Klay and Dray were still in their prime so the bench wasn't as important. It'll be important next season after Steph and Klay posted career low's in shooting percentages. They had a great run in the Finals against a young C's team.I remember that EXACT thing in 2016: oh you lose Bogut and x, bench too thin. Didn't matter one bit.
Yeah.
Pure domination. Kind of like when he goes against real NBA C's.
Nope. Too fucking skinny. He’s not really a center
Yeah.
Pure domination. Kind of like when he goes against real NBA C's.
Yeah they'd have some future left (Poole, Moody) but not nearly a lock to be good anymore.
Like I said, interesting choices
He’s not really a center, but Tacko felt him tonight
just sayingAnother content-free post from you about the Warriors, a team you literally have never been right about.
No dude, this ain't the future ^^^
I love it. Now I know how Yankees fans felt in the late 90s.just saying
If Brunson just got 26M a year- Poole is going to be right there. thats an additional 24M in salary- which equates- honestly to about a whole teams salary in luxury tax if they also keep Wiggins- who isnt going to go down in salary from 33M after the postseason he just had.
Klay, Curry, Wiggins, Draymond alone take you OVER the luxury tax line if Wiggins just makes what he makes last year with no raise.- equals 154...the lux tax line this year is 151, next year 154-155 seems a reasonable increase.
Since they are in the "repeater tax"--- anything over say that 154 mark starts really costing
0-5....the next 5 million actually costs a team 17.5
6-10M actually costs about 19 million
11--15M actually costs 22.5 million
16-20M actually costs 26.25 M
so if they are just 20 million over the cap- the actual cost - is the 20M plus 85.25M--- so about 105M.
from their it just gets crazier for every dollar spent you pay about five dollars in tax (more so- it keeps going up 1/2M per 5M increase.
so from 21-25M above the cap- costs the 5 million in salary- plus 20M in tax- for 25 million
26-30 above the cap- (lets just stay at 5M to make it easy- even though it continues going up)- 5 more million plus 20M.
So---- JUST Jordan Poole- if he gets 30 million dollars- will actually cost- his 30 million, plus 125 million dollars in tax.
Looney's 7 million dollar deal will actually cost 7M + about 25 million in tax--- about 32M a year
Wiseman- his 13 million- will cost- his 13M plus about 50 million in tax for about 63 million
so- if they keep Looney, Wiseman, and Poole at 30M- they are spending, incluiding tax- about 240 million dollars.......this doesnt include the rest of the players.
Just say an extra 50 million for everyone else (which is fairly conservative- actually very conservative).
total salary would be about 445 Million per year.
