He wouldn’t throw 21 picks, that’s for damn sure.

One guy was 27/7 and the other 22/21 TD to INT and one guy has Jarvis Landry and OBJ and the other played without his starters a few times. Lol
if you are gonna make an argument. That is a better one, than one team made the playoffs & the other didnt.

Yeah I never said that though. I’m sure somebody else may have argued that.

Mayfield definitely needs to take a little off the ball at times. It's unreal how many balls deflected off his receivers hands and went for picks. That's partly on the receiver but also indicates he is throwing too hard when the situation doesn't call for it.

In two years Baker has thrown the same amount of interceptions (35) that Wentz has thrown his entire career.

Allegedly before yesterday's game, a fan yelled at Baker Mayfield "you better not lose to a 1-14 team!"

As the story goes, Mayfield lost his temper and yelled "come down here and say that to my face!"

This is why I would go with Wentz.

I don't trust anyone that thin-skinned to be my quarterback.

Also, Browns could have made the playoffs if Mayweather played better. He was garbage and that cost his teams some wins for sure.

That is a great point. Maturity has been bakers biggest shortcoming to date. That’s not the only incident that suggests that as well

He face weight caused a slight drift to his passes imo

I do think he's trying on saying the right things. He handled the Garrett thing better than the coach did.

Obviously he handled the taunting badly.
Not thinking the bad things in the first place though. His Napoleon Complex is going to always be a stumbling block imo.

Yeah I know. The guy I quoted had said that.

I mean, at this point, how can it not be Wentz? There's certainly still time for both guys, but at this point of this rather questionable thread, Carson is the superior QB On and Off the Field.

Baker won’t be as good as Wentz, ever. Wentz is a smarter player and flat out better. If he has a healthy team, I’d take him now and the future 100/100 times

Next year is the big year for Baker. Has to make real strides and put this slump behind him. Right now he makes significantly less than Wentz but when the times comes for a new deal the comparison becomes much more appropriate. He will either deserve it or not. Part of the reason Philly cant have the weapons is because Wentz makes so much. Cleveland will have the same issue as they worry about re-signing Myles and Denzel, Baker etc. That's why they couldn't piss around with another year of Kitchens

Time may very well prove you correct. After this past year it's not a hard conclusion to make.

Has Carson not got hurt the year he had a team around him, he almost had the MVP locked up. I’d love to see Baker be in the conversation ever

Hmm, now here’s a thread…

I had Wentz. Don’t think I’ll change my vote.

In 2022 Mayfield is worth about $9M but he's being paid $18.86. At the same time Wentz is worth about $17M and he's being paid $28.29M.

"A strange game. The only winning move is not to play."
