If Murray shows he's quick enough I'd love the pick: I like his shooting and D. I'd like to see what a lineup of Cunningham, Bey, Livers, Murray, and Garza/Bagley/Stewart would do.

Livers looks like he's going to be a steal. I do hope detroit brings Bagley back.

No way will he be Thabeet nor Darko.

Maybe Porzingis.

But, if he turns into Jarrett Allen/Capella with a jumper, even better.

His weight is obviously a concern.

But, if he can at least get himself in the Nick Claxton range, he will be fine.

I don't understand how a kid clearly marked for big things didn't make that more of a priority. I get he's young but he's been on the radar for a long time.

If, and this is a big if, Holmgren can turn into a dominant stretch 5 things get interesting for the Thunder. Most probably don’t know much about him but the Thunder have a very young player in Pokusevski with some similar skills. They should have left him in Europe for at least a year but he was really coming on late in the year. Always having a guy like that on the floor opens up a lot of possibilities.
Would you give up #2 for Ayton?

What about #2 for Christian Wood and #3?

Some guys just can't bulk up.

Kevin Garnett gained some muscle mass.

But, he was never thick.

Still isn't.

Number 2 for Ayton would mean they're really looking to turn the corner toward competing.

I see the Wood trade down as more likely

Bagley looked good in Detroit.

Could be your next Rasheed Wallace if he keeps improving.

Don't think he will ever be the player Sheed was but if he can come close...lol.

I haven't been this intrigued in a Pistons offseason in a long time. Really curious if they swing for Ayton as well. Stewart and Ayton with Murray, Bey and Cade is the makings of a decent starting five with Bags, Hayes, Livers and either Joseph or Diallo off the bench. Would also have to figure what to do with Olynk.

Wow, tough questions. Yes on Ayton, he brings needed toughness and is proven. No on Wood, Thunder just won’t take on a guy that have been known problems.

What do you think about Dyson Daniels?

Played in the G league last year and have seen him mentioned to the Thunder using the Clippers pick.

We going full Aussie?

Who's next, Patty and Ben Simmons?

I did watch a few highlights.

The ball would be moving, that's for sure.
A lot of upside with Daniels imo. Lanky and has size but also has PG/SG skills. I have been vouching for the Cavs to do everything it takes to trade into the top 10 and that would be a guy to do it for. LaVert isn't the great fit but they might want to wait to move him until after they see what the squad is like with Sexton and LeVert.

I'm trying to think if the Thunder can even do that trade without help. Pretty sure even though Ayton isn't signed his hold puts them over the luxury and thus would need salary back to balance it.

No way am I giving up #2 for Ayton.

#2 for Wood and #3 in a heartbeat but it really depends on how much they love Jabari or Chet. If Jabari were to fall to #2 that is hard to give up for practically anything. If Presti loves Chet though they won't trade the pick.

It would take a little help but wirh all the draft picks it’s easily accomplished for the Thunder.

I'm sure the Suns would love to do Ayton for 2 though lol. Trim that tax bill down if they can.

You certainly can't project anyone to be Ja lol. I too can see a trade down. A few wings in the mix that could be just as good as some of the top picks ..but could also bust out. But as I said I really like Murray. But that said...

Sharpe
Mathurin
Davis
Branham
Griffin
Daniels

All intriguing guys.
Sharpe didn't play for UK(still pissed about that), but from everything I heard coming out of their practices, no one on the team could check him. Great shooter and a 49" vertical. Interesting guy for sure

Hmm. Definitely an interesting prospect. Could see him jumping Ivey as teams get more eyes on him.

He might be the best player in the draft. Just hard to make the leap without seeing him play in college. I would go Smith 1 Sharpe 2 Ivey 3 Banchero 4 and Chet 5. I think Chet will be alright but not a superstar by any stretch

It's hard to have an opinion on Sharpe since he didn't even play in the D league. But yea he is the wild card of that top 6 or so that could shift things around.

I could see Chet slide but he also has a crazy ceiling if he put it together.

Even though last year prob turns out to be the better draft this one is no slouch either.
